  1. Nice job. I think i have that one out there laid out on wood and ready to cut. Will have to think about adding the green to the lily pad. thanks for sharing.
  2. Very nice - I like the one your daughter wanted with the owl. Thanks for sharing.
  3. Very nice work and great idea. thanks for sharing.
  4. ditto.
  5. Beautiful work shown. thanks for taking the time to take the photos and share for us who couldn't go!
  6. Thanks for taking the time to take and share photos for those of us who could not attend. I always like to see photos.
  7. For those of you who were disappointed, or expected more then you got, etc. - can you share what you were disappointed in or what you expected but didn't find? I'm curious to know what others would think make a show a "good" show versus not. I understand that some of you were disappointed in not being able to try the Seyco saw for example. That is feedback that I hope gets Back to Ray at Seyco. I would think it would be important to let people try out a new saw you are trying to sell, especially when it is a complete "new" saw on the market.
  8. I'd ask to start it up and give it a go and see how it worked, sounded, etc. Take a piece of wood and some blades to make sure you have what you need to give it a whirl. I think a lot of people buy these and like he said with his - use it very few times - especially if you don't know that its harder to do when you are first starting out - especially if you are expecting to saw a straight line. Like others said - see if he will take less.
  9. Awesome amount of hard work shown there Scott. Good luck on the big show and I hope it goes well. I suspect that you will sell much more than your goal of 200-250. Plus, the bonus is, even if you don't you have plenty ready for the next Farmer's Market or show you go to! Thanks for sharing. I look forward to hearing about your big event next weekend.
  10. We need a "jealous" emoji on that "like" button area. Another reason to get down to visit the store soon! Welcome to the village Wayne. Glad you joined us. Repurposing old wood is a win win for everyone. Definitely helps our bank accounts whenever we can "find" good free wood to use.
  11. @Dan- what I see when I open your PDF is the H is missing from the word Happy so its Live Appy
  12. Another Welcome to the village - this one from East TN. Fortunately, I have a hubby who has a router and many other tools that he helps me with when I want to learn those. He however really didn't use the scroll saw that I had had him buy so I hang out here in the Village to learn from the masters here. Great group who have helped and encourage me a lot in the past little more than a year I have been here. My interests in projects to cut has also greatly expanded during that same time.
  13. Welcome to the Village from another Tennesseean. East TN, foothills of the Smokies to be more exact (although I was born in Ohio). Glad to have you join us and look forward to your participation.
  14. Nicely done - Pattern by @DonR and cutting by you. I can see that your wife would indeed have loved it. I am sure she was thrilled. Thanks for showing the finished piece.
  15. Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Kevin, before I attempt to help. Can you answer a couple of questions - first, do you really mean 10.5 inches high and 11 FEET long for your pattern? Second, what font are you wanting to use to create the pattern? Do you want each word capitalized? Do you want the word "and" or do you want the and symbol like this "&"? I have a program that I might could try to create this in for you but before I do give it a try, it would be beneficial to have that information on the front end.
  17. Great work by Harvey on creating a great looking puzzle that many soccer fans would love to have. I too look forward to seeing your cuttings of them. I like the baseball players he has done. Now, if only he had a volleyball player (preferable a defensive player getting that dig off the floor - the hitters get all the glory (and images usually but its that defensive player sacrificing her body to get that ball up so the setter can set it for the hitter to hit! LOL - Yes, my daughter is that small defensive player!) I hope he's enjoying the "monster" you have created here on the Village with his patterns and their addiction you have created here! Thanks go to you and he. I really have enjoyed the ones I have done (but have not yet attempted a couple of them - that saxophone and the snickerdoodles may be waiting a while!)
  18. Very nice Kevin. I too had been thinking about cutting the main pieces out but then not cutting them into the puzzle pieces. Hadn't thought of adding a clock though. Great work. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Very nice, excellent way to use the scraps and get another product to sale. Good luck. thanks for sharing.

Nice start - especially to tackle doing lettering! Lettering still makes me run the other way! You are well on your way looks like. Thanks for sharing.
  21. Nice work. I have that one cut out. I like how you added the red to the heart to have it stand out. Thanks for sharing.
  22. Nice work Kevin. I saw that pattern when Steve Good posted it recently, I thought about doing it for my college student son.
  23. What a great idea and well executed. Thanks for sharing your pattern and information on making. As an aside to what dgman said about the hosting site - here is an example of what comes up when i click on your photos to look at them better. (I only took a partial screen shot. )
  24. Another Tennessee welcome and I thank you, Aggie and others here for your service to our Country and the world. Glad you both found your "homes" there. Home is where we make it I firmly believe. Glad you found us and look forward to seeing your work when you get your saw. Remember, everybody started where you are starting - brand new - putting their hands on the saw for the first time.
  25. I just wanted to say, yes, they are great fun to cut and addictive as well! Thanks for taking the time and sharing the video of your process Scott. and I'm with RJ - when you started talking - I was like - whoa for some reason, that was not the voice I was expecting! LOL - guess that means that everyone thinks I sound like the great Mouse (or at least Minnie!)
