  1. Looks awesome Paul. Glad you figured out the airbrush.
  2. Excellent. I love combining hobbies to create.
  3. I agree, beautiful piece.
  4. Nice work John.I really like your bright colors you use on your puzzles. You could just make the giraffe a tad bit taller with a longer neck and move it up a bit further from the bottom when you remove the dove. It would fill in the space nicely that way. @Charlie E sorry to hear you are under the weather. Hope you are better soon.
  5. Nice work Denny. Still waiting on the arrival of my copy of the magazine.
  6. Nice work on the clock.
  7. Also, you need to remember sometimes people don’t use a specific font. Sometimes they edit letters and their shapes, use combination of different letterings from different fonts, etc. so finding the exact same font even in perfect photo may not be possible. You just have to find a font look you like and work with it.
  8. This one might could work https://www.dafont.com/gm-hiptop.font?text=Give+Thanks&psize=l&back=theme
  9. I used your image with a few of the font identifier apps that show up when you do a Google search) (what the font is the one I remembered but there are several more.) Unfortunately, it doesn’t really work with your photo (at least not the three I tried). Probably in large part due to all the other stuff in the background. I have found that they usually work best when it’s only a word Image, and even then it’s not always accurate. I would look for a font that I thought was similar that I liked and make a pattern.
  10. Hi Alan and welcome to the village from East Tennessee. Nice work.
  11. Marg, so glad you were able to get them via Amazon there and save a ton of money. I look forward to seeing what you make with them. I got the people and pets book myself recently. Need to break it out and give a few a try. I was going to do a few for Christmas gifts, at least that was my thought when I purchased it.
  12. Welcome to the Village from across the pond here in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee. Look forward to your participation.
  13. Glad to see you’ve been doing some work. We all have good days and bad days, hope you are having more good ones then bad. Remember, time on the saw will make any day better. Good to see you Kevin, we worry when you take extended breaks.
  14. Welcome to the village from East Tennessee. Look forward to your participation.
  15. Excellent work as usual. I’m curious how you take your photos Jim. Do you take and then remove the background with software?

Sorry to hear you have been enduring some health issues. Looks like you are on the mend. Prayers said that improving health continues. Nice work on a detailed pattern.
  17. Excellent work.
  18. Looks to me like you have done a great job and still have plenty skill with the saw.
  19. Glad to see you back visiting the Village Len. Look forward to hearing more about your new scrolling setup and seeing some projects from you.
  20. Looks great for someone with "wonky" eyesight.
  21. Don, did you perhaps use Steve Good's Compound keychain name system to create? f you go up to your user name (its in the top right corner on my computer) and click and drag down - you will see "attachments" - the will let you view all the images/photos you have ever attached or added here in the Village. You can also see all the threads you have posted by clicking on your user name, drag down to select profile, and once at profile page - select the "See my activity" block over to the right side (its the blue box and while I hovered over it it shows the popup to see meflick's Content - select the blue box by clicking on it) and it will show what you have posted. You could have to filter through if its been a while since you shared. Just some other ways to find things you have shared in the past.
  22. Beautiful
  23. Nice work, should make for a happy neighbor.
  24. @kywoodmaster Larry ,Dirk’s widow’s name is Karen. Be sure when looking for the website you include the word “the” (as Barb noted it’s “The Art Factory”). I just checked the website ( and initially forgot “The” ) and did not see the ribbon tree or many of his ornaments listed (and I know he did quite a few). You can reach out to Karen via the contact page to inquire about purchasing any of his patterns even if they are not listed and she will help find what you need. Just give her as much detail as you can. I did so in the past. I believe It was a set of his ribbon ornaments that included this ribbon tree. (I’ll see if I can find info.) I liked buying direct from her to ensure she got all the funds. https://theartfactory.com/contact-us/ Updated to add: I found my info. from the ribbon ornament patterns. It is pattern number 474. It has 2 pages 7 patterns on one side, 7 more on other for total of 14 different ribbon ornament patterns. Besides the tree, they include a cat, a dragonfly, a butterfly, a star/snowflake like pattern with holly leaves and berries, an ornamental flower looking shape, the year with a bird (year is 2013 so would need ability to modify for another year or remove and add something else in place of year), a dove, intertwined hearts, a praying Angel with wings, a star, Mary, Joseph, holding baby Jesus, the word, Believe, 2 other different star patterns, one solid line outline and one with intersecting lines like hand drawing a star with overlapping lines. Phone number listed is 800-566-6394. Mine was mailed but I ordered I believe several years ago now (at least 5 I think) so not sure if she can send electronically or not. I got fairly quickly as I recall. They are located in WI.
  25. Looks like Wordle is not taking up too much of your time. Lots of excellent scrolling there. Good luck with your sales.
