  1. Sounds like you have been humming that song - "If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all" Hope things are looking up for you. Work looks good. thanks for sharing it.
  2. Thanks for sharing Frank. Both your idea, the pattern and the updated information on your stack cutting attempts and blades used. Good to read and learn from other's.
  3. I see you have been doing lots of good work lately Kevin - thanks for sharing about "Offer Up" - I am not familiar with that avenue. Interesting. Glad it is a good revenue source for you.
  4. Well, I like them both but the real question is not what the popular opinion of this group is but instead, which one do you think your sister-in-law and her hubby will like best? But, I am also assuming that you are giving them both since they are personalized. I have studied them both several times now and can't tell you I like one over the other honestly. The square one is more of a "traditional" look - the hearts more eclectic.
  5. Very nice toys for hours of enjoyment. Thanks for sharing your photos.
  6. Very nice work on all of them. I really like the cabin sign. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Hope your last show does well for you Edward. Hope you get some time soon to get back in the shop and some time to visit here as well. Hope you have a great day too! I have been off and on here the past couple of weeks - not much in the shop either while i was waiting on hubby to finish a project he was making for my niece's wedding gift. It's finished now so I am not sure what my excuse is for not being out in the shop.
  8. Another one wearing a mask. Turn on the dust collection system and the air filtration unit hubby has in the shop as well (well, when I remember )
  9. Another great looking plaque Dave and i am sure your "hippie" friends will love it. What a great way to welcome in the new baby. Thanks for sharing.

  14. Excellent work as always Denny. Boy, that display tree sure has been emptied several times in the past couple of months! Hope you and yours are doing okay today what with the storms passing through the area. Welcomed rain for sure but could do without the tornadoes, thunder, lightening to go with it for sure! Thanks for showing us your latest work.

  22. Steve, that is just a beautiful piece of artwork that you have created. The time and talent and nerves it takes to have cut that piece are amazing. I am in awe of you guys and gals who cut these beautiful detail pieces of art. Thanks for sharing.
  23. I really like these Dan. I think the addition of the greens and pinecone to the hat are excellent trim work that help show off your work. I really like both the snowmen and the snowflakes. Thanks for sharing. Can you share what font you used to make the initials?
  24. Welcome aboard from East TN. I'm in the Knoxville area so just a little bit away from one of your favorite places. The fires have been horrendous and a lot has been destroyed there but a lot, unlike early reports, has been saved. The good news is that we are getting some heavy rains in the area today so we are hopeful that will help a lot in extinguishing the remaining flames. We have been in an extreme drought in the area with little to no measurable rain since about the 5th of July. They had been fighting a large number of forest fires and high winds Monday night just sent everything spiraling out of control very quickly in about 15-20 minute timespan they have said. Unfortunately, that front did not bring in much if any rain and so things just went from very bad to devastating quickly. Still getting updates on what has and has not been destroyed. Conflicting reports are making things difficult to know as well. Congratulations on your retirement from your job as a police officer. Thanks for your service, and so glad that you made it to retirement and now have time to learn a new hobby. Looks like you are well on your way. Your badge looks great! I look forward to seeing more of your work.
  25. Very nice. Thanks for sharing.
