  1. Great looking project Dan. I love that saying, However, If true, I have had an Angel or Angels hanging around for a couple years now. One shows up almost every morning banging his beak on my bathroom window. Other times, later in the day he is at other windows.he’s been around for so long most of the time I barely register it any, ore.
  2. Did you tell him if you told him the truth you’d have to kill him?
  3. Marge, I hope Santa delivers. I know about the need for a stool at the drill press.
  4. I love how you enhance your scrollwork. Sure to be treasured.
  5. Stunning work.
  6. You have been busy Dick. Great work on all your gifts. Glad you were able to squeeze in one for yourself.
  7. Beautiful work. Welcome to the Village.
  8. Glad Kevin was able to help you out. Excellent work Kevin.
  9. I am sorry for their losses. Back to back like that is especially difficult. Your piece is beautiful and sure to bring her some joy during a time of great loss.
  10. Awesome work displayed. Great you had such a positive event for your bank account and that the heat was not to bad.
  11. Glad you had a change of heart and came back Dan. These Gnomes are just adorable. Like the fringe and the snowflake on the caps.
  12. I’m with Fish. Both are attractive but I think in this particular instance I prefer the brown. I solemnly swear I voted today and that I am alive.
  13. Funny you should ask, I just said the same to my hubby recently. We should really inventory all the tools and equipment we have. Primarily for insurance and make sure we are covered, but also so our kids have a list to work with if need be. We have told them should something happen to us both to NOT just go selling or giving things away as there is a lot of $ in those workrooms.
  14. Another Tennessee welcome. Look forward to your participation.

  16. @rash_powder did you ever get your new laser module and get your Ortur LM2 running again? Any further insight on it? Are you using Lightburn? @Iguanadon Scott, did you get the Ortur laser and get it set up? Any insight on setting it? Usage? Are you using Lightburn software with it?
  17. If interested in the Pegas saws, I would reach out to @Denny Knappen a member here In the village and a distributor through his shop Artcrafters. His website is here: https://www.artcraftersonline.com several here have purchased their saw through Denny. I don’t have a Pegas, but read good things about them, I do buy Pegas blades from Denny. like others have said, the Delta is more of an entry level saw and I believe the Pegas is a better saw.
  18. Nic e work Frank and very seasonal for your winter location.
  19. Nice work with found Wood. My mother made each of her children (4 of us) and our spouses and then our children and a couple great grandkids hand cross stitched ornaments each year for years and years (probably at least 25 or more.) Since I started doing my wood working shortly after her death 4 years ago, I started making them wooden ornaments to continue the tradition. My most treasured ornaments are the ones that were handmade by my mother and by others we have lost. (My husband had an aunt who did Tole painted ornaments and decorations that I also have and treasure just as much.) I hope they will one day treasure the wooden ones as well.
  20. Nice work Denny I like the addition of the tree.
  21. Welcome back. Nice work on both the portrait and the shelf.
  22. Tony posted a screenshot of a similar ornament last month In the pattern requests subforum here in the village. Russell, @Birchbark created the pattern and posted it there. This is the thread https://www.scrollsawvillage.com/forums/topic/40524-christmas-decoration/ nice work on cutting them out Tony and I am sure your wife’s friends will love them.
  23. What a great grandfather to share his love of the scroll saw and to gift you one of his saws. Treasure it and learn all you can from him and this site. Congratulations on finishing your first project. Remember, everyone has an opinion and different likes but it is your art you are crafting so create what speaks to you. Keep up your work and keep learning and don’t be afraid to try new things or new ideas.
  24. Congratulations on a great day of sales Pete. Not surprised, excellent work.
