  14. Depends on what you are doing for sure. Many people build enclosures, add air assist, fans, venting tubing, etc. depends on skill level, desires, knowledge, etc. some don’t care, don’t vent. Some use in garages, use a fan, etc. Even with cost of adding those things, you are still well below the coat of the much bigger and more expensive lasers. one thing you want to be careful with is knowing what material you are burning as some can be quite toxic. This is true no matter what laser or setup you use. Some things should not be burnt, some things can be burnt if handled properly with enclosures and proper venting, educating yourself and making sure of proper setup is the most important thing you can do. I have used mine next to open French doors with a fan when I first got it. I was hesitant to do it, but was doing small test burns on wood so went ahead. That was before winter and weather was good. Worked fine. Even when hubby came home, he could not smell any smoke in house. When winter came more prominently I moved it out to the garage. I have used with garage door partially opened and closed (depending on the weather. ) With fan blowing across, clearly smoke smell more noticeable if garage door completely closed but has never set off the smoke detectors (in house or garage. ) one day I will have hubby build an enclosure for it probably with vent if I want to move it inside but since I don’t burn a lot with it, or big projects doing it this way works.
  15. You’ve been busy. Nice work. Nice to see you. Hope all has been well for you.
  16. It’s not just Pegas and their saws. It’s many things that need shipped from overseas, or thiNgs that need parts shipped in from overseas. We have found many items, in many stores not available since the pandemic. Some I was surprised at. We waited more than two months for a new stove. My father in law needed a new refrigerator, they told him it could be a couple months at several stores, he got lucky and found one locally eventually but he had need earlier in pandemic. My son’s rental apt. In Atlanta, fridge went out and it took several weeks for repair service to get part to fix. We have a small RV and I am on some groups where people discuss, there are problems getting parts for service, as well as parts for building new ones on order delaying delivery of new ones by weeks if not a month or more now. I have seen similar in other industries. The laser I have, there are now delivery delays on those orders. While this is presently the norm, and what happens when you rely so much on Imported products during a worldwide issue, I do think if you are selling a product, and you are aware of delivery issues and delays you should be honest and upfront about it. It just causes anger and frustration when you are not. While I was frustrated with the timeline on the stove that was needed, at least I knew when I ordered that it was going to be a long delay which was unfortunate but we knew and dealt with it.
  17. I have shared these before back about 3+ years ago when I cut them. My daughter played volleyball. She played for her middle school, high school and many years of travel ball across the US before playing all 4 years in college. As a result, we traveled many places (after many years of traveling gymnastics with she and my son in even younger years) and watched many a volleyball match. I have made many sports related things for my kids and their teammates over the years but these are probably my favorite. These were made form daughter and her team mate for their "Senior Night" of her last season of College ball. The teammate was a front row hitter, my daughter was the starting Libero (the one who plays the back row only in the different colored shirt, the one that is always diving to the ground to keep the ball up! ) for 3 years at college after playing as a regular starter on back row her first year. The original "hitter" pattern was created by Steve Good but the pattern its self was not actually "shared" on his blog. He did happen to share a photo of some he had created for a local team in his area which I happened to see. So I wrote to Steve to see if I could get the pattern which he kindly provided. I was originally going to make them both the same from that pattern, but since my daughter played the back row, I decided I would rather do one that more accurately depicted her playing so I took a photo of her and with inspiration from Steve's pattern, created the Libero pattern. I then added their numbers to the jerseys, their names, and the College Initials and their sports team's nickname. They we given to them on their Senior Night.

    Welcome

Nice work. No turning back now. Enjoy your new obsession.
  19. @CharleyL I am sorry for the loss of your friend. It is very nice of you to help his girlfriend with an Urn. I’m sure he would appreciate knowing you helped her during this time, prayers said for you all.
  20. As many have noted, it looks similar to many Sue Mey has on her site. However, like a Kevin, I looked at her site and did not find this particular pattern. Here is what I did find: https://scrollsawartist.com/search.php?page=1&section=product&search_query=“Ornament+tree” now, you could reach out to Sue via email on her contact page and she could tell you for sure if it’s hers or not. Perhaps one of hers will give you what you want if this is not her’s and you cannot locate this one. I have seen similar in other places, but not sure where at the moment.
  21. As noted, you need to reach out to Denny directly when trying to get a saw. I’m tagging him @Denny Knappen as well so perhaps he can reach out to you if you have not already communicated with each other.
  22. Marg, let me know if I can help you out. I can get things shipped here and then forward to you if that would help.
  23. Hello Tim. Welcome to the village from another Tennessean. Several of us here from across the state. What area are you in? I am in the Knoxville area. As you can see, Denny is a little further south of me in Dayton area. There are several others more in the middle Tn area and some further west and areas in between.
