  1. Kevin - as Frank noted the Happy Fall sign is from Steve Good a few weeks ago and you can find it here. https://scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.com/2020/08/happy-fall-yall-scroll-saw-pattern.html Then you can check dafont website for monogram fonts, the kk one should give you a good B to use. The pumpkin should easily be developed from a simple silhouette. You can find some to pick from with a quick google search for free pumpkin silhouette clip art. You can find the font I mentioned here: https://www.dafont.com/monogram-kk.font and a free silhouette pumpkin. I think you Have been scrolling long enough and doing lettering to be able to work out. What you need from there. If not, let us know and someone can probably help you out if you can’t afford to buy the one like Frank did.
  2. Another Tennessee welcome to the village. Look forward to your participation.
  3. Actually Kevin, if you have a Mac computer at least - you can turn on the "My Photo Stream Option" which imports your photos from your devices without using the iCloud Photo Library and send your new photos to all apple devices My Photo Stream Album so no need to purchase any additional cloud storage. I have this on and the photos I take from my phone go to my iPad and my Mac computer easy peasy. I'be been doing it this way for years now and have never paid for additional cloud storage. Now, if you aren't wed to the Mac system so fully - then not so easy but you can always email them to yourself from your phone as well.
  4. I’ll join the others with a wow and awesome work. Always love seeing what you are doing and wishing I had just a bit of your skill.
  5. Congratulations Monti. I got my copy yesterday and saw it. I need to get to copy shop and get a copy made, too big for my home machine and I think I may reduce it a tad before giving it a try. Several things in front of it right now that I need to finish though so could be a while. For those who don’t subscribe, check your local Lowe’s or Home Depot magazine area. That was where I usually got mine before I subscribed. If you still can’t find in your area, but would like to get a copy you can always buy direct from the magazine. This is the 2020 Winter issue found here: https://www.foxchapelpublishing.com/scroll-saw-woodworking-crafts-issue-81-winter-2020.html
  6. Me too, but since the Hulk is Green, I’d probably go that way.
  7. I got mine yesterday and did a quick glance through. I guess I missed this. congratulations. I’ll take a closer look.
  8. Beautiful piece Ike. Glad you made something for yourself.
  9. Anthony - you are being inspirational. That "ranking" on the side has nothing to do with one's scrolling abilities - it is based on the amounts of posts one makes here in the Village forums! I have been scrolling for about 4 1/2 years now and joined the Village shortly after so that is based on my posts over that time period nothing more. I don't get to scroll daily, sometimes not even weekly and I consider myself more of an "intermediate beginner" - a "jack of all trades" and master of none. I find inspiration here everyday I get a chance to come and see what others are doing and sharing - from beginners to experts - I find useful information and inspiration each day. The fact that you are using a Wen scroll saw, and did such great work, is an example that the tool does not have to be the top of the line to produce nice work. I can't answer your questions on the other saws, and have never used a Wen myself. However, from what I have read and seen over the past 4 1/2 years - the Wen is probably the most basic saw you could have and anything is an upgrade from there. Good luck with finding a new one. Let us know what you decide.
  10. Thanks Pete. I was wondering when I looked at them before if the mask was incorporated into the design so it was all one piece to cut, or if the mask was cut separately as it would be easier to paint that way. I think I may get these and give some of them a try thanks to your inspiration.
  11. Excellent piece Charlie that your friend and his wife will love. My husband always tells me that the "evil" of "good" is "better" - meaning that often when something is "good" and you are trying to make it "better" you end up screwing it up! I've been known to do that! You didn't here.
  12. What a great way to celebrate someone's loved one and the memories. Excellent work as always Dick.
  13. Kevin, you are beyond the expert level on words! I wish I had have the ability to cut them as well as you do! Love these words in particular - all great messages.

Wow, that's a lot of Crosses! I am sure they all are as great looking at this one.
  15. Beautiful work with lots of detail.
  16. Great work and any Beatle fan would love them.
  17. Hope you have lots of @Iguanadon - Harvey puzzles to display on that stand. Excellent work. Did you buy your wife her own saw yet?
  18. Excellent work as always Pete. I've considered getting those ornaments with the mask. How did you like cutting those? Painting them? Any tips or tricks on doing them. Thought a great pattern to commemorate 2020!
  19. That looks great Anthony. I'm not a chess player, but my kids learned to play in elementary school. Maybe one day I will attempt to create a set with a board. Can only hope it turns out half as good as yours and Trackman's.
  20. Nice work Dick. For those interested in trying the Pegas blades (or those who need to restock ) our fellow forum member, Denny, sells the Pegas blades (and saws and new larger saw top). He offers great prices on the blades and shipping and ships very quickly. I have ordered from Denny and always been happy with the service and agree, the Pegas blades are good. You can find his store here: https://www.artcraftersonline.com/shop
  21. You do beautiful work.
  22. Awesome looking project
  23. Beautiful Ike
  24. She’s doing a great job. Kudos to her. I think you better start looking for that second saw.
  25. Looks beautiful Dick.
