  1. Congratulations on your new to you Hawk. I hear they are great saws. I have cut that bunny pattern. Nice work on him. The more you cut, the more you learn, the better you get. Keep cutting and sharing your work Nothing we like more around here then hearing about folks getting new toys, err tools, and seeing what they are cutting.
  2. Nope, just another thing that is different around the world I am afraid. Here in the USA the most popular and traditional sizes of paper are Letter (8.5 x 11 inches), Legal (8.5 x 14 inches) and Tabloid (11 x 17 inches). Letter is the standard for most documents. Course sheets of wood usually are different from paper sizes just to confuse things even more. Found this chart that shows comparisons of most of our standard. Congratulations Brenda on your find and purchase. Look forward to seeing what you do with it and how you like it.
  3. Nice work Ike. Enjoy your new saw.

    Key Rack

Great place to corral those keys. Nice work.
  5. Beautiful job as always. I like the simpler cross.
  6. Nice work Frank. Yours looks beautiful. I liked it when I saw it on Steve’s site, but wasn’t sure about making one as I wasn’t sure it would find much use but may give one a try sometime.
  7. Nice work Lawson. I watched a lot of snoopy and scobby doo myself when I was young. We had a dog that looked like Snoopy, so yes, we named him Snoopy.
  8. Beautiful work. I have several guitar players in the family who would love those.
  9. Glad to hear you are fine with minimal damage in your area and no damage to your house and you have your power back. Hopefully they can restore for all sooner then later. Glad all those puzzles are safe as well.
  10. @Iguanadon hasn’t checked in that I have seen. Hopefully they too weathered the storm without any real damage.
  11. Awesome idea and great work on crafting the tray for it. It enhances it for display.

  17. You have been busy. What a labor of love. Looks great. Sure he loves it.
  18. That is so awesome Kris. I can see the hand of God in it. I wish the world had more leaders like this. Then the many we have now who don’t understand real leadership. Thank you for sharing the image.
  19. A beautiful adaptation of an illustration , even if originally intended for something other than a scroll saw. Excellent addition of the color as well. I understand about the patience issue. I am in the same boat I am afraid.
  20. Another Tennessee welcome to the Village. Glad you have joined us and look forward to your participation. Nice projects you have crafted there. Glad you found a way to create a new mini shop and create some saw dust. It too can be good therapy for when you cannot be out on the open road on your bike.
  21. Thanks. That’s Sue Mey’s site. She makes excellent patterns. I will check it out.
  22. Nice job on that Dan. Sorry to hear that Covid has directly affected your family. Prayers that your daughter has no serious issues arise and the rest stay safe. I. Thinking you are more then ready to get rid of 2020 given your year so far. Glad you have finally gotten to get back on the saw.
  23. Great job Edward. I like those toy models too but haven’t tried one yet. Are you making and cutting your own wheels/tires?
  24. Beautiful work Charlie and time well spent and a lasting piece of art. I try not to get into such discussions as you are correct, not going to change too many people’s beliefs on social media.
  25. Hi Ben, can’t really help you on hinges and looks like you got lots of potential sources already. However, I did want to say what a beautiful box you have crafted. Should be loved by anyone who gets one. Second, I also wanted to ask if you could share information on where to find that pattern if you don’t mind. Love the butterflies.
