Kevin and I posted at the same time - so we both have sent Steve a message so hopefully he will be able to get to it soon. Sorry it wasn't where I said.

Here is what the files look like with their names on his CD/DVD that I purchased and why I thought it was Word Art8. The first one is the .jpg image, the second one is the files its self and then what it shows inside the pattern file. I have sent Steve an email with a link to this thread, with these screen captures from the CD, and explaining we are trying to find it for several people looking for it but we wanted them to go to his site to find it and not share the pattern here. Hopefully he will be able to do so soon. I know he has been sick and very busy right now trying to get ornament patterns and the other items out.

On the CD/DVD of his patterns I have is where it shows it as "word art8". I agree about still not passing around his patterns - that we should refer people to his blog and/or pattern catalog to find one of his patterns. That is why I tried to point everyone to the correct place with the correct wording to find it in his catalog. I could not find it on the blog its self. However, now that I look at the Word Art-8 pattern on the site, I see that it is not the same i didn't catch that - I assumed that what he had it named on the CD/DVD was the same in the online pattern catalog. My apologies. See my next post on 2nd page to show screen captures from CD/DVD showing the name as it is on there and why I thought it was word art8.

Well, technically Steve doesn't sell his patterns he gives them for away for free. You just have to find the one that you want. EXCEPT you can buy his CD/DVD With all his past years items on it. His CD from last year had all his patterns for 10 years, 2007-2017. It cost $20 and had over 2,000 patterns on it probably when you take into account that many have multiple patterns in them. So that is about a penny per pattern for those 10 years. He usually updates it after the first of the year I think to add that past year's to it. I did buy the CD last year thinking that would give me 10 years of his patterns. Then today, I remembered I had it so I thought I would check it and see if I could find the pattern on it, figuring if I did, I could figure out when he posted it on the blog and find it there and then post a link to it from here to there. Good idea - and I did find the pattern on the CD and discovered it was from 2007 - his first year of putting out patterns. BUT other then saying 2007, it does not say what month or anything on it. So, I thought well, I would look through the 2007 posts and find it that way. Unfortunately, I looked and may have missed it BUT I did not find it anywhere in any of his posts from 2007. Not so easy it would seem. I can tell you it is listed on the DVD as "wordart8" and has the "No Coffee No Workee" and "God is Awesome" patterns together. However, a search for "wordart8" on his blog and the online pattern catalog did not turn that up either. EDITED again : I didn't Find IT in his online catalog or on the blog though .(though I did but I didn't so ignore what I say next! Didn't delete so as to not cause more confusion with followup comments. @octoolguy Ray and @Rockytime Les, if you go here to his online pattern catalog: https://www.stevedgood.com/catalog/index.php and enter either "word art" (space between word and art or specifically - "More Word Art-8" (no quotes) it will show up in the pattern catalog for you to download. (I still don't find it on his blog posts though. )

Good to know it was a Steve a Good pattern and you found it. Do send Steve a note, so he can hopefully get it added to his catalog. Funny though, because it also didn’t show up in his blog posts when I searched those though so not sure why that was.

No unfortunately, that is not the one Kevin is looking for. It is the same words "no coffee no workee" Its the same one from the Scroller's Cafe I linked to above and that one turned out to be one that Roly Phantom Scroller did and its different.

Brenda - you need to tell him you have already caught up on the cost laid out - has he not heard the saying "happy wife = happy life"?

Kevin - someone else was just looking for that same similar pattern - the words over in the Scroller's Cafe in the past couple of weeks. Seems like a couple of suggestions were made. @Phantom Scroller Roly had made one, but its not the same one you have here. Hey Al, afraid I can't really answer your question because I have not used them but wanted to suggest that if you are ordering some blades, why not order what you are used to and like, and then get a small quantity of the Pegas super skip to try out. Then decide if YOU like them better. I say this because I have learned here in regards to blades, what some people like, others don't. True in most things in life. That's what makes the world go around. Once you figure it out, you can let others know. I don't recall having seen anyone post specifically about those blades previously.

Glad you figured it out. I have read about this being a possibility but your's is the first I have heard it actually happened. Good reminder for all of us to make sure our magnifier lights are covered or blinds are closed when leaving the shop! Thanks for sharing.

Nice work by both you and Timothy. Glad you were finally able to get your cataract surgery done and are now doing well enough to get back in the shop and start some scrolling. I know you have missed it.

Many places that sell blades will give a small quantity discount if you order in bulk. A “gross” of blades is 12 doz. blades or 144. Most that I have ordered from will let you “mix” so it doesn’t all have to be the exact same blade. Not sure all do thst however so verify before ordering to be sure.

As I recall, Steve sends you a "bill" to pay, once he gets them completed. You can then pay the bill with a credit card or PayPal as I recall. I know you can pay with a credit card as I would have as I do not have a PayPal account.

Looks great, both the pattern and your cutting. However, you better enjoy the little free time you have right now to be doing such work because with a week old litter of pups, I think that free time will soon be taken by a bunch of rambunctious puppies and just in time for Christmas.

I agree with Paul, I ordered some last year for my husband for Christmas and also got a set for myself and they are very nice. I got him the ones with the tree like Paul’s plus one with a wood turner image. He does various types of wood working so those work for him. Mine has a female Scroller on them. @Rockytime Les, they are small thin wooden discs. The image is “burned” into the disc with a laser. The thought is that you would insert them into the bottom of a project that you had completed. You would use a Forstner bit to create an inset to place them. We both have wood burners so for us, my thought was to use them on projects too small for the wood burner to be used. I think it is important to “sign” your work as any artist would. Some pieces will be around hopefully for a long time after us, so I think it is good for the family to know who crafted it.
