  1. A man's greatest asset is a great wife. I've realized that for nearly 56 years.
  2. I love your signs. I have always really liked the Ford logo and have cut it several times just for the fun of it. Logos are fun to cut. I don't do anything with them so I just stack them up.
  3. Those look wonderful. Very nice job!
  4. Glad to have you back. Too bad you had to start over but now you are here. Sit back and enjoy.
  5. I have two, an old one and an even older one and they both perform the same. They do run very strong. Mine runs continuously while scrolling and the total decibels with the vacuum, box fan and saw running remains about 65 dB..
  6. I've been out of the shop today but will try to remember to check the model number tomorrow. One is the tan model which is much older. The other is not as old and is chrome and brown but they are same operationally. For $25 I'd give it a shot. I have a couple of Decibel meter aps on my phone. If you look at one it would be worth while checking the noise levels. I have two aps just to make sure they are both reading similarly.
  7. I also could not open the file. I may have to go to Wilson142's method. Thank you for your efforts.
  8. I would not worry about that. Point is that you got ut posted and we get to see it. That would be fun to make. Are patterns available?
  9. Very nice work Danny. I especially like the cross.
  10. That looks amazing! I like the painting and the colorful labels.
  11. Those look great Kevin. You really do a variety of things.
  12. Looks like you are nailing it just fine. Good work!
  13. That is so gorgeous! I would like to know if you used a spiral blade and if not what regular blade did you use. It is so detailed it seems impossible to cut. Looks dynamic.
  14. Since dust collection noise can be irritating this may or may not be of interest to anyone but here goes for those of you who may be thinking about getting a vacuum for dust collection. I did an on line search for decibel levels on Fein and Fastool vacuums. These are the levels listed on their websites. Fein Turbo: lowest end model, $290, 66 dB Festool: lowest end model, $400, low 62 dB, high 72 dB I have two Oreck vacuums 80 dB Filter Queen vacuum on my dust collector 65 dB I mention the Filter Queen (FQ) because of it's power and low noise. I was perusing Craigslist and Facebook Market for used FQs. Facebook had a number of them from $25 to $250 with a lot of unneeded accessories. I've had two of them. They are very strong and new they are selling for over $3000. I bought mine perhaps 25 years ago used from a friend who was a dealer. I have a 13 gallon HF dust collector and the FQ works as well or better. Also the FQ is very compact and would work well for a stacked setup. So I am just suggesting checking out the used market and you may some money.
  15. I commend you for your generous support work!! Not everyone is so willing. Thanks for mentioning it. It helps to know members better. Reveals the good character of many of the members here.
  16. You just keep on with those mini projects and keep on posting.
  17. Wow epson! That is exquisite cutting. Thank you for posting.
  18. I cull redundant photos regularly.
  19. I'm having the same problem. I have no room in my small shop so I'm starting to hang things in the basement. On my demise my two girls can have what they want and the rest is going by way of the trash or thrift store.
  20. You can add it as a signature at the end of your posts by going to your personal page. There is provision there to do it.
  21. Looks great! Looks like an optical hallucination. Interesting how the brain defines things. I like what you did.
  22. Great job on the pattern as well as on the cutting!
  23. I admire you guys that can make a business of scrolling even a hobby business. I woulld hate scrolling under pressure.
  24. Looks like a real nice setup. Having a quality saw makes all the difference in the world. I think often starting out with a cheap saw really encourages people into giving up before they got a good start. I'm glad you are hanging and enjoying. I don't discourage a cheaper saw because economics play a big part in what one can afford. Have fun!
  25. My cell phone is always out. I photograph everything I do. If someone has a question I can often fine a picture to explain things. I sometimes think I post too many photos, although "No pictures, it didn't happen".
