Not so silly. Before I had even thought of scroll saws I used PVC to store my blades for my piercing saws. Here is where I learned about the plastic tubes.

Hi epson. Are you able to post details on how you weighted the last two characters. I'm having difficulty making it out on the photos. I've made the gears but am stuck with the last characters.

I would call it a beautiful decorator piece. It is quite beautiful!

My saw doesn't have holes for that. I do, however, use the extremely nice and cheap plastic test tubes from Ebay. I used to use PVC but quickly changed over to the test tubes. They have a nice cap that keeps everything tidy.
