I sincerely thank you for the suggestion. Having had a clock repair business for over 40 years I have well over a hundred files of every size and description including sets of pattern, riffler, diamond, Barrett, bastard, mill, slotting, safe edge and more. I inherited many more from a gunsmith friend. I find what works on metal does not work very well on wood for me. I use small pattern files, cosmetic nail sanding sticks, rolled up sand paper and whatnot. I use a Dremel with brass and fiber bristles, sanding mop and 3M buffs. I have micro torches which I have not used as I cut 1/8" pre-finished BB and the finish will melt. The micro burrs will arrive Thursday. I'll see how satisfied I will be.
