    That is absolutely exquisite! Beautifully done. Your pastor will be very pleased. Is the wood .4" or 4" thick? Four inches will not fit my saw. Just curious.

    Clever. I used a similar but smaller fan to exhaust over spray when painting small objects in a paint booth. Your system looks great!

    Glad to see you back but sad for you to leave again. The knees can be fixed. I've had both mine replaced over 20 years ago and they are still going good. It's the rest of me that doesn't do so hot. Here is hoping for a complete recovery!

    Jim Ern found this pattern in a magazine. This was an experiment. Wood is1X6 pine board. Since cutting pine can be problematic because of the grain I used this project to experiment with quite a few blades. The clear winner for me is the Pegas #7 Super Skip blade. It rips and cross cuts equally well and does not hang up because it does not discharge the sawdust quick enough. This was the first time using the blade.

    Beautiful! That is why I would never start such a project. I probably would not live long enough to finish it. And I don't know any other scrollers.
