I cut this little thing quite a long time ago. I ran across it recently. I tried painting it but can't do a good job. Too many hand tremors. But was fun anyway. Just made the frame today.

I am impressed! I recently tried compound cutting. I had a pattern of an angel that had wings but not the pattern of her wings. The angel came out OK but she is without wings. Would love to have another pattern.

I ordered the quick clamp from Hegner Saturday evening which means I have to wait until Wednesday or Thursday. Last night I just made a temporary clamp. It works perfect and was too late to cancel the order. So today I gave the saw it's first taste of cutting.

I have 4 pair I use these also. I have 4 pair. One at the saw, one at each of my 3 clock benches. They are inexpensive and out perform my several Optivisors. They are a real bargain and have several magnifier lens.

I ordered vac bags on Ebay. I just shrink them with an old hair dryer

Most led magnifying lamps will work if they are 3X. 5X in my opinion is much too strong. I know because I have 3. The aforementioned Is ideal as it does have 3X. A search will find other 3X cheaper but they are less common than 5X. Takes a bit longer to find

If the new clamp works as Hegner claims I should not need the quick release besides where can I find a machinist?

I just looked at the Quick clamp. It looks exactly like the old style with exception that it as a knob. Does it still mount the same way? Also what is the positive stop they speak of? I don't mind spending the money if it works better. I'm finding that aligning the blade straight into the clamp difficult. Thanks for your input, I appreciate it.
