  1. Years ago Colorado sent an auditor to my office with a warrant to inspect my payables for tax payments. After tying up my conference room for three weeks it was discovered the state owed me more than $3000 in over payment of sales tax. It appears I was overpaying both state and Denver county taxes.
  2. So, whatz up?
  3. Very nice work on the letters. I use a cake pan. I dip both sides then blot it on a newspaper. Had never thought about a bag.
  4. Anyone can burn wood but only an artist can do what you do.
  5. Love cats. Is that poplar?
  6. That's one cool cookbook!
  7. Yesterday I was preparing some 1/4" BB for scrolling. It had a nice clean surface and I mad sure that it was free of any small debris. I placed the shelf liner on and burnished it with a roller. I noticed one of the corners was lifting. I burnished it down again. I mounted the pattern with spray adhesive. I began cutting and in places the pattern along with the shelf liner would lift on the blade's up stroke. I'm always VERY careful to put the liner and pattern down with HEAVY pressure on the roller. My shelf liner is not old but it is getting to the end of the roll. Perhaps it was old stock in the store but this is the first time it has happened. In the coldest weather my shop never gets below 50 degrees. I'm puzzled.
  8. Great display! What I don't understand is; does one have to scroll for 20 years full time to amass enough items to have a display the size of yours? Flabbergasting! I'm impressed.
  9. That is my question also.
  10. That same crap will be addressed at the polls Tuesday. Will put small on-line sellers out of business having to hire an accountant. Sad state of affairs.
  11. I recognize it must have been tough on you but regardless you did a super job.
  12. You have a regular factory. Very interesting.
  13. The bases you used are really neat!
  14. That will be treasured for a very long time.
  15. I find it incredible that people would not fine scrolling fascinating. I guess I must be different. I'm always interested in how things are accomplished.
  16. Very nice! I still have not the courage to use spirals. Perhaps I should try some.
  17. Thank you Brad.
  18. About six miles from my home in North Dakota there is the Whitestone Battlefield. General Sully came from Minnesota and massacred many women and children after they were rounded up in a coulee from which they could not escape. Most of the braves escaped. Sully then destroyed over one million pounds of buffalo meat and hides. Everything was destroyed. In the twelve years I spent in school nothing was ever taught about it. People visited the place. There was a very nice small museum and picnic area and a monument with a small plaque. I went back to visit there about ten years ago and took lots of pictures. When I returned home I Googled the site and finally learned what it was all about. Wish I had been told the significance when I was a youngster.
  19. That looks great! You will go far in this hobby.
  20. Great pattern and mighty fine cutting. Well done!
