  1. WOW! I had no idea. Never checked the address. Just ordered on line. I suppose there some kind of rate exchange but that's OK. Thanks for the update.
  2. I ordered a gross of Pegas blades. It is now the end of the seventh day and no blades. I'm sure they will show up but it seems to be pretty slow. I've ordered blades and patterns from Wooden Teddy Bear and always receive them within three days. This has been my first order from Bear Woods and I'm hoping this just an aberration. I'm wondering what experience others may have had. I'll probably receive them tomorrow. I could have ordered from D&D but looking at their website there were so many options it became confusing to me. I'm hoping Bear Woods turns out OK for me as they carry lots of things that are of interest to me.
  3. Looks great!
  4. Just curious. I had a Chevy S-10 but don't know what the C-10 is.
  5. Sweet! I like it.
  6. WOW! You are prolific. Those look great. Very nice cutting!
  7. You are very, very welcome!
  8. I think you did very, very well. The cutting is nice and I like that it is lighted. I understand about MDF. NASTY!
  9. Beauty is not everything but often it is ahead of whatever is in first place. Anyway that being said I see people making key chains and luggage tags which receive rough use, in and out of pockets and purses. What hard wood would stand up to that kind of abuse? Just wondering.
  10. That's cute. You did a great job.
  11. Thank you John for your information. I am slowly learning. Problem is whenever I learn one thing I forget two things. Soon I won't know anything.
  12. Congratulations! What a beautiful project.
  13. Really COOL! Love it.
  14. That is really clever. Nicely done.
  15. That's terrific. The pattern and cutting are great.
  16. I love that! My uncle sill had two teams. We used them for hauling hay bales. the tractor need a driver. The horses just needed a git and whoa. is that pattern for sale?
  17. HOLY SMOKES!
  18. I don't know the weight. The difference would be minuscule. Can't tell the difference in vibration. I do need to cut the threaded end down shorter. I just do that with a piercing saw.
  19. I know little or nothing about finishing. My go to is the BLO. However, there has been conversation about various finishes. This morning on my way home from breakfast I stopped in at my local ACE hardware store looking at finishes. There was Minwax Tung oil as well as Watco Tung oil. The Minwax was a small can for $15 and the Watco was a big can for $16. So my weird sense of economy said the more expensive the better. Enuf about that. Anyway I bought the Minwax. Since I scroll mostly pine I test Tung oil and BLO. The Tung oil on the left and BLO on the right. The BLO brought out the grain much more. So I'm wondering why use Tung oil. I would like to have a practical finish. I have been satisfied with BLO but perhaps there are other things I would like better.
  20. Tension knob isn't the correct name but since there has been so much discussion on knobs, I throw this in. Fortunately the Hawk uses 1/4-20 threads hardware is easy to come by. I don't care much for the little two wing knob so here are a couple of variations. The last one is the most comfortable and nice to use.
  21. I know nothing about glue but I recognize some GREAT cutting. Those are beautiful.
  22. I was going to say that but I'm much too modest.
  23. That's TOO funny.
  24. I really liked yours. That's why I found the pattern and cut it.
