  1. There has been one for sale in Denver on CL for about two months for $225. It is being sold by a used tool dealer (a real shyster) my friend looked at it and it even had parts missing." Buyer beware. I would be happy to buy one at a fair price. But alas, I do not have room. Remember your shop is 5 sq ft larger than mine!
  2. People buy what the can see and touch. Where there is a distributor network there will be sales. I only discovered PSWoods during a Google search when I first became interesting in strolling. Since I did not hear of anyone on SSV using one I just sort of discounted them. However, since recently using both the 14" and 12" I have been completely sold on them. Price wise they are extremely competitive and tough! I love my Hawk but should I ever need to replace it it will be with a 21" PSWoods saw.
  3. Where can I find All Things Scrollsaw?
  4. IMHO it is a Sakura or now a PSWoods saw. The motor is mounted at the bottom and uses a belt change system. I used one as well as the 21" model. They are fantastic saws. I would own one in a heartbeat.
  5. Very nice. I really like the little angel and cross.
  6. My wife came home this week with a roll from WalMart. I asked her how much it was. She said, "I don't know, I just thought you needed it." I guess I'm the only one who worries about such things. Otherwise she is a very frugal person.
  7. Absolutely beautiful!
  8. Dynamite pattern and cutting.
  9. Nice pattern and nice cutting. Did you make the pattern? It looks great.
  10. Perhaps you could purchase your wife a nice new broom so she could follow you around the shop and dust and sweep after you. That would be nice togetherness.
  11. Great job, I like it.
  12. Check the vendor section in the resource tab. There are many who can help you.
  13. Here's hoping you can get your vision taken care of. A few years ago I was nearly blind from retinopathy, caused by diabetes. I saw a retina specialist who told me not too much could be done. He said we could try some shots in the eye but was not sure how much good it would do. He was shocked. I had shot every six months for three years. At each visit My vision improved. I have not had a shot for two years. I do not need glasses except cheaters for reading. A real miracle! Pardon the chattering. BTW can you post a picture of the organ you made? Take care.
  14. I don't cut anything exotic, just things that I happen to like. The star of David was the first piece I cut. It was for a little friend for Hanukkah. She could paint it. She is a beautiful Chinese little 11 year old who was born missing one chromosome. This leaves her a little slow. Perhaps like a six year old so she is in special ed. She loves little puzzles so I cut little things for her wile my wife supplies her with girly things. The second photo is more of an example of what I like to cut. I don't sell anything and my shelf is getting crowded. I'm probably the only one around here that likes them. They can be given away when there is a sale of my estate which I hope isn't soon.
  15. Very nice! Word art and puzzimals are my favorite things to cut.
  16. I wish I had a shop as large as yours. Yours is 117 sq ft. Mine is only 112 sq ft. You lucky guy.
  17. Very nice. I know it will be appreciated.
  18. I cut pine because it is cheap and I can afford it.
  19. That's a nice speedy puzzle.
  20. I like it. You did well.
  21. You did a wonderful job on an exciting pattern.
  22. The heat is terrible all over. It's not helping the record forest fires in Colorado either.
  23. Cuts like butter. Much softer than Plexiglass.
  24. A stunning pattern. You did a beautiful job of cutting. I wouldnot frame it. It looks good as standing alone.
  25. Your work is excellent.
