  1. Looks really cool to me!
  2. Great patterns and cutting.
  3. A big welcome to the Village from Colorado!
  4. I love the animal puzzles.
  5. Just finished perusing Craig's List under wood. Three thousand listings. What I discovered was a lot of solid wood furniture for cheap and even free.
  6. Very cute. Like the bunny motif.
  7. That saw is just like mine. It's serial is #24744 and mine is #26753. I paid $200 plus $200 for a controller. It sounds OK.
  8. All my wood work tools are in my shop in the garage. My machine tools are in the basement. I never mix the two. The next nice day I will do it outside. I appreciate the suggestion. I'll probably dip in BLO and then a coat of lacquer.
  9. Nice anchors. I remember snows years ago in North Dakota that's why I'm in Colorado. Our snow doesn't hang around too long.
  10. Kevin, you cut such interesting patterns. Your names are very creative. Your font selections are terrific!
  11. Looks great to me!
  12. Reminds me of my 1938 Harley Knuckle Head I had when I was 16. Love the puzzle.
  13. I love to see you cutting. I'm amazed how you fly around the small circles. Great cutting and a nice project.
  14. Although my hearing loss is severe I am going to get noise canceling headphones. Not the kind which are for music but strictly for noise reduction. If I try to listen to music it is just noise. I would only use them when my vacuum cleaner or router run.
  15. I had a light mounted on my Hawk and moved it to a shelf next to the saw. That little flickering from vibration drove me nuts.
  16. My youngest grandson is a Junior in college with a football scholarship. Girls and football are the only thing he is interested now. If in time great grandchildren but by that time I will no longer be around although that would be nice.
  17. At my age I am never in a hurry. No desire to cut fast. Mostly I was trying the Pegas blades and I really like them. The clock business has not slowed down, I have. Four clocks came in this morning. It still pays the bills. I still make pens but the scrolling is much more relaxing. I love it.
  18. My hearing aids are blue tooth. Not much help.
  19. Iggy, very generous of you. I also downloaded the rescue dog. Thank you.
  20. Thanks for all the kudos!
  21. Very, very nice.
  22. Cool pattern and cutting.
  23. I just finished Iggy's buffalo pattern. It is cut from a pine board because it is what I have. I used a #5 Pegas MG blade. I was pleasantly surprised how easily the Pegas blade followed lines. I had been using FD Polar blades which worked fine. Just decided to vary things. It took about three hours cutting. I have no idea how Iggy cuts so fast. I don't have a lot of time for scrolling. This past week my clock repair business was slow and gave me some extra time. My repair business is coming to an end. I started in 1976. It's been a long run but a good one. Hopefully I'll be doing more scrolling in the future.
  24. I don't wear ear protection. I'm 79 and my hearing was good but about 15 years ago my hearing began failing rapidly. I do not believe it was from industrial noise but rather hereditary. My mother was very deaf. I wear strong hearing aids and still have difficulty hearing. I have extreme difficulty using the phone and cannot understand calls on my cell. I'm thankful for texting.
  25. I'm glad you mentioned that. I had no idea. I order from amazon a lot. I'll use it.
