  1. Someone once said, "No pictures, it didn't happen." I'm just stealing that phrase.
  2. Holy smokes, only three hous? Your saw must be super charged. Your work is remarkable and I really like your work.
  3. I bet the little trick or treaters will like them. Did you do those on a scroll saw or jig saw? They look great.
  4. I cannot imagine cutting that by hand. I can't even imagine doing it with a scroll saw. You've done an amazing job.
  5. Hey, really nice!
  6. OUCH!
  7. People collect lots of things. Could be a new hobby.
  8. Thanks. I can move the fan to the front of the shelf. However I can feel the air coming around the fan and I can feel the air coming from the back of me so I know the air is moving quite a lot. I never thought about continuous running. You are right about that. I will make the change first thing.
  9. After all the talk about dust control I set up my 2 inch box fan. It comes on along with the saw via the foot switch.
  10. Beautiful cutting and pattern. Iguanadon, I like your puzzles.
  11. Merry Christmas to you too. Cutting is wonderful. I am turning padauk for pepper grinders. Red dust over everything. Did you find that when scrolling. I really like the design.
  12. I'm thinking an old CPAP pump would work. They are designed to run for hours. Then you could also use it at night.
  13. My back is not as problematic as yours but old age does affect the back. After an hour I have to take a break. I do use a stool on casters that goes up and down with a little lever. It helps to change the height every once in a while. I hope you can find some relief.
  14. Kevin, thank you for posting your picture. I wish everyone would do that. It personalizes the posts. I should follow my own advice.
  15. I disagree with Humanism but your work is great. Keep on scrolling.
  16. Kevin, your work always amazes me. Keep up the good work.
  17. I can edit on my phone but I always upload to my computer and send the photo from computer to Picaso. There I can edit the photo and also resize it to a suitable size for posting. A little extra work but worth it.
  18. I retired from my business in 2001. Then I turned my 40 year hobby of repairing clocks into full time. I'm still at it at almost 78 years old. I guess I don't need retirement especially when I love what I do. So good for you Dave.
  19. Great cutting, great finish and very nice pattern.
  20. Very nice. Way beyond my skills!
  21. I was born pre Howdy Doody. Your cutting is great and I really like the separate frame lettering.
  22. Welcome from Colorado. You've come to a great and friendly place. I really like your work!
  23. Thanks for the ideas. I do believe the packing tape was a bit much. The drill bit is sharp but I like the idea of putting a little wax on it to lubricate it. It only did this when I used the packing tape. This was a first time. I usually only use the blue painters tape.
  24. I burnished it down with another small piece of wood. That also made sure the pattern was firmly secured to the wood. I can use it OK but it is irritating when I start a cut.
  25. Horses are always a favorite. Yours are great.
