  1. Thanks everyone.
  2. Very nice. Would look even better with Denver Avalanche.
  3. I think it looks great. Red felt is very nice. I also like the frame.
  4. Today I covered a blank with painters tape, applied the pattern with spray adhesive and covered the pattern with packing tape. This happened. Why and how?
  5. Welcome to the Village. I use painters tape. I don't like the mess of mineral spirits.
  6. Very nice. I love cutting letters.
  7. WOW Kevin! I couldn't live long enough to use it all.
  8. Thanks. 50/50 is what I had intended. Makes sense now.
  9. I know BLO is boiled linseed oil but what does BLO/BLO mean? Must be a mixture of some kind but what?
  10. Great! How much time did it take?
  11. This is my first attempt of puzzle cutting. It is very simple but gives me practice following the lines. It has BLO on one side only so far. I think I will paint the backs white to determine which side is up. I may paint the pieces different colors and give the puzzle to a youngster for Hanukkah.
  12. Very nice. Good to see another pen maker.
  13. Looks great. Worth the time & effort. I also hope you can get a photo of the finished wheel.
  14. Very nice. I really like the HD. I used to be a proof reader at the M&M factory. I picked out all the WW's.
  15. Those pendants look great. I would not sell for only a dollar. You, your time and skill are worth much more.
  16. WOW! Fantastic, I love it.
  17. Don't question your skill level. The cutting is excellent. I also prefer the detailed plaque.
  18. Good tip. I'm picking one up in the morning. I sand by hand or a palm sander. Actually I sand very little as so far I have only made a couple of things that require sanding. But...I have ordered several patterns and will start producing more.
  19. Great cutting.
  20. How will you cut it? On a band saw?
  21. I'm just starting scrolling and have a small assortment. Have not tried them all. FD PS #5 & $7, FD TC #3, 5, 7. So far I've only used the FD TC #7 cutting 1" pine. I also happened to be browsing in Woodcraft yesterday and bought Olson skip tooth #4 and #7 blades. I'm very confused as what works with what. I'm going to cut a puzzle from 1" pine. It is cheap and I have quite a bit of it. I think I'll try the Olson blades to see how they work.
  22. Early Merry Christmas! Very nice cutting.
  23. They really say Christmas!
  24. Beautiful crosses. I understand why she wanted both of them.
  25. Looks great. Terrific job of painting.
