  1. Likewise. I'd love to talk shop with other scrollers. I frequently eat at a particular restaurant which has a couple of nicely scrolled items on their walls. I was introduced to the two persons that did them I tried striking up a conversation with them but they were not particularly interested in a conversation. There is a turning club in Denver but have no idea if they do other things and I no longer drive long distances or evenings. I spend more time with bikers.
  2. Yes they are. Download the iHeart app. When you go to iHeart there many, many podcasts of every conceivable subject. Lots of conservative pod casts by Dan Bongino, Glenn Beck, Bill O'reilly and many more. Just listen with your cell phone or use ear pods or headphones, Great listening.
  3. I also wear glasses under my headphones. No problem. I also listen to a lot of podcasts.
  4. I love the kitty. Oh, the bowl is very nice too.
  5. Looks great!
  6. Looks terrific!
  7. Beautiful!
  8. Easy does it works every time. Very nice work.
  9. Very nice! I made that with 1/2" Walnut. Very cool pattern.
  10. Great explanation! Thanks
  11. I hope this file loads 20210402_111735_2 (3).mp4
  12. Looks like its been dragged through a gravel pit.
  13. I have the Hegner fast clamps for both of my Hegners. There is a slot in which to insert the blade. If I remember the left index finger holds the arm down with the thumb holding the blade in place with the right hand tightening the knob. Seemed kind of awkward to me. With the barrel clamp it is just popping the blade into the little hole and tighten the knob. very fast. If I can find my video I'll post it.
  14. Barely clamps are the way to go. I made barrel clamps for my 16" Hawk discarding the outer brass bushing. Never understood what good they were. I then modified them for my Hegners. I also bought Jet clamps. They have a humongous through hole. I plugged one side and made a smaller hole opposite. About a #55 drill size. No need to go to all that trouble. Just plug one hole with anything. Wood sliver, round toothpick or even epoxy plug would work. Perhaps you need two holes for the Jet. I have never looked at the Jet even though Woodcraft had one on display. Round clamps are simple to use. Poke blade in hole and saw!
  15. That's what I used but would come up on my computer. Just got error 520. However it comes up fine on my cellphone.
  16. I find the site just fine with my cell phone but not with my computer. Go figure.
  17. Perhaps. I'm using Opera but switched to Firefox and received error 520 on both. Thanks for checking.
  18. I have once more tried contacting the art factory. I have tried the afore mentioned addresses. I just get an error 520. Anyone able to help me?
  19. Unfortunately 3M 45 is hard to get. That's what I used to use.
  20. I'm not sure why my 3M clogs so often. After spraying I immediately turn the can upside-down and spray to clear the nozzle. I just opened a new can of 3M 77. I never had the problem with previous cans so I have no explanation.
  21. Yeah, but I'm 82. Maybe that is the reason. Actually Ray (Octoolguy) explained it to me well but I forget. Good thing Kevin came through.
  22. I don't know how to post a link. Kevin has done so. There are 2 kinds off cans that are universal. Male and female. Spray cans like 3M 77 are female. The hole at the top go inward. Paint spray cans like Krylon are male. The spout protrudes. So it is easy to determine which you need. Mine came from Amazon. 20 for $14 something plus shipping. Just under $20. Did not qualify for prime. Kevin shows some cheaper on ebay but I was too lazy to do much searching. Either way it's worth it.
  23. At least it's not a lump of coal. Tired of messing with cleaning clogged nozzles on the 3M 77 spray cans. Someone recently advised that these were available so I ordered them. I just placed an order for the larger caps for paint cans with a female tip.
  24. Great cutting of a truly great actor.
  25. Looks great, the cutting and pattern!
