  1. Well done! Btw I just added new C264-bowl pattern. I noticed that your version has 8 pieces and it also looks great, just wanted to say that my new patterns (C261 and C264) has a little difference: part of pieces rotated at one direction and part - at another. Not sure if 8 pieces enough to get such 2 directions swirl ornament.
  2. My latest - Fire Department badge, 4 layers, 7,5 x x7,5 inches Video of making project Fire Dept pattern

  6. My latest project - Halloween box with hidden opening mechanism. "Trick or Treat" sign is moving element: if it in the lower position box is locked, if it in the upper position you can remove top of the box. Watch the video to see how it works and how it was made. Also pattern includes 2 variant: usual box and with hidden mechanism Halloween box pattern
  7. New bowl to my collection, it is 17th. At this bowl pattern one part of pieces rotated clockwise and others- counterclockwise, so it is came out double ornament. Video of making bowl Bowl pattern - https://alexscrollsaw.com

  10. I continue making fretwork patterns and cut a new one - Wolf Here is short video of making Wolf pattern
  11. My new 3d geometric project - Dodecahedron. It was fun to make and interesting to assemble. Such projects requre accurate cuts for fitting elements, but you always can use a glue if your cut is not perfect. Video of making Dodecahedron pattern - https://alexscrollsaw.com
  12. Last bowl I made was about 3 year ago, I decided to continue making new bowl patterns and here is the first one, everything as usual: 1/4 inch thickness, consists of 13 pieces, size - 8x8 inches. Video of making bowl Bowl pattern - https://alexscrollsaw.com
  13. You will be interested to know - I decided to continue creating bowl patterns. I have already cut new one, gluing now. I will add it to Etsy when the video of making will be ready, in a day.
  14. New shadow box project. I combined the view under and above the water, I think came out nice. Project size is 6,5 x 8,5 inches, 5 layers. Video of making Bass Bass pattern

  17. Almost a year ago I made 50 patterns: state symbols with borders for each state. Now I cut one of them - Ohio: 4 layers (3+background) 1/8 inch, project size is about 7,5 x 8 inches Video of making Ohio US state patterns
  18. My second 3D geometric project, consists of 50 pieces. Each piece is not large, so you can use scraps of wood to make it, project size is about 4 inches diameter, I used 1/8 inch birch plywood. Video of making project Pattern - https://alexscrollsaw.com
  19. I planned to make a cactus, but couldn't decide which type to make, so I decided to make a set. I also did it in such a way that it was possible to change their places: any cactus fits any pot. Project consists of 2 parts, you can take out cactus of a pot and change it. Approximate size is 3 x 6 inches each. Cactus consists of 2 layers, pot - 4 layers. 20. Excellent cutting! It is one of my favorite patterns
  21. I am interesting what instruments do you use for drilling holes for scroll saw projects. And show my new mini drill. There are differnt mini drills at Ebay and Amazon, but they are qite expensive, same as delivery to my location. I was looking for a small and cheap mini drill and found this one at Aliexpress (China store), btw is it popular in USA? Also it includes 0.8mm, 1mm and 1.2mm drills and costs just $5. It works from mobile charge block (not included). Advantages: small, cheap, usual drills suit for it, comfortable for thin materials. Disadvantages: on/off button on the wire, I think it would be more comfortable on body of drill; not ergonomic body (just a cylinder), dosnt suits if you need to make perfect perpendicular hole (as you hold it in a hand and measure by eye), max drill size is 1.2mm, one speed. Overall I am happy with the purchase and will continue to use this drill. Here is short video preview of this mini drill -
  22. I bought it just for $5 at Aliexpress (China store) - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006499218253.html Also it includes 0.8mm, 1mm and 1.2mm drills. It works from mobile charge block (not included). Very comfortable to use for thin materials (1/8-1/6 inches). Disadvantage - on/off button on the wire, I think it would be more comfortable on body of drill. I know there are many small drills at Ebay or Amazon, but they are qite expensive. Here is short review of this drill -
  23. Here are all parts (12 round connectors and 30 edges)
