Very nice pattern and cutting. I've done a few river boats, and I know that they can be very challenging. You certainly rose to the challenge.
Thank you Chris, you're right, the rail were the most difficult. My efforts are second class to your train plaque.

Those are my vertebra numbers that get screwed up on me the most. Have had them go out so many times and the worse was during the pandemic. My chiropractor would not open the office because we were in lock down so for 2 months I suffered in pain. How did your surgery go? was there any side effects? Do you have limitations like movement with the fusion? Thanks.
It was an overnight stay in the hospital and walked out with some pain. Sleeping was an issue. Had to move around various beds and couches like a cat trying to find a good spot. It got better day by day but the original pain before the surgery went away.

Rick I went through almost the same thing L-4, L-5 fusion back in Dec 22. A little less hardware than you. It took me about 9 months to get close to normal. They had me walking right away but it wasn't easy but got easier as I got to the 9 month point. Now trying to do 2-3 miles a day. It will get better.

I did have an incident with a hacksaw blade on my finger. Held it together before it started to bleed and had my wife apply some CA glue over the cut. It never bled and healed in 3 days!. When I had my L-4, L-5 back fusion done, they CA glued a pad over the incision instead of stitching and it healed and came off in a few days.

of the Spirals, the #0 is my go to blade.
Sorry Denny, Used the Skip tooth. With all my small cuts, I would have been all over the map with a Spiral blade.
Still love your blades.

Do you remember the Hudson River Dayliner and the tour boat out of Kingston to the light house?

Over the years I have done several cars, planes, landscapes and a few ship. I thought I try my hand at a Mississippi style steam boat. It was about the max size for my EX-16 at 17 x 14 and had to do some cuts coming in at opposite directions. The railing was the most challenging with close to 140 very narrow cuts. Lots of very small cuts, especially the stairs. I really liked the drifting smoke coming off the stacks. It took several days to cut because it would get hot in my shop, garage and did most of the work in the mornings when it was still cool.
1/8" BBPW with shellac/ lacquer finish.

Recently I started stack cutting all my 1/8" thick plaques. Cutting 2 is just as easy as cutting one using 1/8" BBPW. A while back I had used Scrolleronline's (Windfield Collection) adhesive 2 sided tape and was very happy with it. It could be removed with no residue and came in a 11.5 x 20' roll and was easy to to apply and remove. It was originally reasonably priced but eventually got way too expensive. It used to be $20 a roll but its now almost $30 a roll. I tried most of the methods listed but eventually went to spraying 2 sides of printer paper with 3M 77 and would remove it with mineral spirits. (smell doesn't bother me and dries quicky with no film) I would use a small injector to apply between the boards and pry them apart. The top pattern sheet would usually come off in one sheet and the middle section would come apart once the MS got through the panels. The boards would clean up quickly with minimum glue residue.

I was in a quandry lately as to a new scroll project. I was wandering through pinterist and came across a train picture I really liked. I had done Alex Fox's pattern and tried my hand on this one. My wife put it into grayscale with Photo Shop and I started eating pixels with MS 3D paint. (too lazy to learn a new program) It took a few days for the design and then off to the copy store. Cutting took about 2 days. I still have put on a finish but it has been too humid to do any spraying. I hope things dry up and cool down soon. 1/8" BBPW on 1/4" backer.

She wanted another white jewelry box to match the one I had already made. I have got the making of the joint box sides and steaming of the curved top down. Making and fitting the draws takes more time. I scroll the front of the draws from the front of the box before I glue it together. I use lap joints to assemble them. She did her great painting of hydrangeas. On to the next project when it gets a little cooler in the shop.

Ray, you are right. It's hot here in SC and the high humidity makes it very uncomfortabe in my garage workshop. We have have not had rain in almost 2 weeks. We took some vacation days in Charleston (great!) Just on the edge of the beginning of the HOT season there. I'm also between projects. Finished another jewelry box for my wife but she needs to finish painting it before I post it. Also assorted doctor appointments. Epidual for back/numb toes issue. Seems to be working. Another Dermo visit. Time to hog out some more flesh for assorted skin cancers. Used to it. Where was that suntan lotion back in the mid '50's? Need somemore inspiration for when things cool off. Maybe something from Charleston.
