  1. As they say it only hurts once when buying over budget
  2. Thanks for the tip Dick
  3. Any one using one of the new Seyco saws?
  4. For those of you that are using a 1"" belt sander what brand or makes are you using or recommend?
  5. What about one of these? You could do both...The best of both worlds and from what I have read they get good reviews..
  6. Plus one on being the same saw. That being said I would just go for the best price.
  7. I found both books so I am all set. Thanks
  8. New2woodwork, Thanks for the lead. I had checked with them the other day and they don't sell Volume 1
  9. Octoolguy, I had looked at my local library and had them search world cad, all the new book sites and all the used books sites that I could find and none of them had a single copy. My guess is that they didn’t print a lot of them as he has been deceased for some time now. Scrappile, the people on all those sites is me since I could not find any copy’s on the regular avenues. So I figure my next best source would be the people that would use these books the most us scrollers. I have wanted to make a scroll saw basket for some time now and Monroe Dutcher baskets have high ratings even thou his work has been out there for some time. Thanks
  10. Or even a copy of one of the plans in the book?
  11. WTB / The New Scroll Saw Basket Volume 1 & 2 by Monroe Dutcher I am looking for the scroll saw basket books written by Monroe Dutcher. If you have either one or both that you would like to sell let me know. Thanks
  12. amazingkevin, If these are new to you what may I ask are your using?
  13. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and experiences. I think at this point I am just going to start with the Foredom.
  14. jscottj, Thanks for the reply. I know the Seyco has a baldor motor. I also have a flex tool as well.
  15. I am reviewing different pneumatic drum sanders for doing contour sanding. The two that are on my list are the Seyco sander and the Foredon variable speed bench lathe sander. They both run about the same price so that is not a factor. The Foredon has variable speed and would use an inflatable drum. The Seyco would come with flexible padded type sanding sleeves. I am not sure if the variable speed of the Foredon would be the best bet and if the inflatable drums are better than the padded type sanding sleeves? The Seyco has a speed of 1800 RPM were as the Foredon variable speed is 500-7,000 RPM. My thoughts are the Seyco is a much beefier machine but the Foredon has the variable speed? Is the Variable speed that much of a game changer and best for sanding? And what kind of sleeves are the best, padded or inflatable for this kind of use? Any help or recommendations would be appreciated. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=...FNJYZGwN-W https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=...DWdW6ZHNZn https://intarsia.com/collections/hardwar...le-sanders
