My nickname came from my woodworking students the first few years I taught. I don't know what group it was but the late 70's and it stuck with me.

I have a 6x48 disc belt sander, the rigid sander, and a1" belt sander. I accumulated them over a period of years. I use the ridgid and 6x48 sanders all the time, the 1" sander I rarely use. I have stand alone spindle sander that I replaced with ridgid today. It will go to my son for him to use.
4months ago I lost 70% of hearing in my left ear all at once. 40 years of teaching industrial arts and my shop work at home didn't help much. I now wear hearing protection to save what I have.
Hopefully you have turned the corner towards better health. Soon we should start reading about scrolling from you, I bet you can't wait to get back to that. Prayers and thoughts on a recovery soon.
MsN I had the same issue with the Delta the motor bolts came loose. I tightened them and have had no issues since. They must not tighten them very well at the factory.
I have three drill presses a 18" delta, seyco scrollers dp, and a 80+ year old craftsman. I use the Delta for woodworking, the seyco for scrolling, and the craftsman when ever the Delta is setup for something else.
I bought an electric heater as a backup for the gas heater when it occasionally stops working. I bought it from rual king for $79. Sounds like I should run a trial on how well it will heat when needed. Good luck on finding a solution.
Hang in there. I had a blood clot shot my heart and went to my lung 15 years ago. Once everything was cleared up I have had no problems since. Just yearly checkups and blood thinner forever.
Just checked Walmart still sales it just 6' shorter. It is like everything reduce the size and keep the price the same hoping no one will notice or you need it pay. Someone probably got a bonus for saving the company thousands of dollars by going to thirty feet. Quick calculations they are making around 18 cents a roll more. Sell 10 thousand rolls make an extra 1800 dollars.
