    I did another sailing ship scene recently if this looks familiar. This wood came from the same board. Wish I had a truck load of it.

    Fantastic pattern and a great job bringing it to life. I agree about the smile being worth more than money.

    Thank you. Did it with a belt sander. I went over the edges a bit more after this picture with my orbital sander and it removed some stain and made the uneven edges stand out a bit more. Then put on a satin clear coat.

    Did another one today with a doe and fawn. I used a free paper cutting template for the deer. Got my inspiration from Kimberly Francis. My daughter drew the happy little tree. The font is called Daydreamer, I tweaked it on Inkscape. It’s 9” x 12” on 3/4 pine.
