  1. Spent the afternoon in the shop with an outlaw Jewish carpenter. I fastened it to the backer with horseshoe nails. It turned out looking like a wanted poster but I thought that was appropriate.
  2. Nice job. Looks like a tough old bird.
  3. Nice job!
  4. Time very well spent!!! They look proud!
  5. Mark Twain obviously didn't have a Lab puppy at the time. Nice lettering!
  6. Good job! Love wildlife pieces!
  7. Finished up. I think it may have looked a bit better on lighter wood. Good enough for my shop wall though!
  8. Great looking clock. You should have set the time to FOUR!
  9. Great craftsmanship!
  10. Great job on both!
  11. Beautiful piece of work! I love that.
  12. Great job on a beautiful pattern!
  13. He did good. I don't know that I would have guessed it but thought it might be fun to try.
  14. Good eye! Glad to hear he's recognizable! This is him as Micky Goldmill, Rocky's trainer. It'll be a bit more obvious when I add his black toboggan. I'll post it when I finish, unless I make firewood out of it. Burgess was a great character actor.
  15. Made a pattern of one of my favorite movie characters. Here it is from the back side partially cut. Anyone want to venture a guess who it is? Hopefully it will be more obvious when I’m finished. *Finished. Burgess Meredith as Rocky's corner man Micky Goldmill.
  16. Nice job. Cool font on Redeemer. There was recently a flatulence occurrence in my shop that registered a 4.5 on the rectum scale!
  17. Nice job. I like the veining just fine as is.
  18. Nice job. Great when you can use your hobby for a good cause!
  19. Nice job! Nice piece of wood too.
  20. Good ole Dobby. I like it!
  21. Looks like a good days work! Nice job.
  22. Very nice! M R DUCKS. M R NOT DUCKS. O S M R. Y I B! M R DUCKS!
  23. Beautiful job Dave! Unbelievable cutting skills. I know they'll love it, but I doubt they'll understand just what you put into it! Very selfless gift!
  24. Thanks Melanie! May have to take a look at the Charlotte's Web cover. My 22 month old granddaughter loves the movie. Her mom, my daughter did when she was little too. I do love to read. My 15 year old daughter puts me to shame though. I take her to the library often. She checks out 4-5 to my one and finishes ahead of me. I usually just read a chapter or two before bed. If I were to cut this one again I would have made the fence larger than it is on the cover. It would have been much easier and I think may have looked better.
  25. Great job on those! I really like the second one. Keep going back to look at it again.
