    Bless his heart on the severe tinnitus. I'm listening to mine right now. I nearly had a nervous breakdown, or maybe I did, when I first started noticing it. Had to use Klonopin to sleep for a year or two. Thankfully I'm used to it now. I do try to use ear protection now though.

    Thanks Paul. Yes she's a lab and is only about 7 months old. We actually took her to some dog/owner training and it helped a bit. She'll sit while we pour her food out and not move till we tell her to come. In other areas not so much. I think a big part of it is going to be what you said first. Waiting out the puppy stage, and maybe wrapping the underpinning of the deck with some pet proof screen wire for a couple of years!

    Yes I am but my heart's not in it. Today she ripped about a fourth of the lattice out from under our pool deck. The dog, not my wife.

    Thanks. I've used the tiny eye screws before. I'm going to go by Hobby Lobby and see what they have in the jewelry making section.

    Working on a pendant for a stocking stuffer for my wife. She has no interest in the Village so no worry about her seeing this. Gotta find a pretty way to mount it now. Here's a shot of Opal digging in the raised strawberry bed. She decided to remove the lattice under the steps yesterday. She's also pulled a bit of siding off my shop. Here's another shot of her looking all pretty and innocent.

    Thanks. If I had not had the trumpet to sell to pay for most of it my pockets wouldn't have been deep enough. I've only used it a couple of times now and like anything new I'm still getting acquainted with it. But I already love using it plus it makes me happy knowing it will be around for a long time.

    In keeping with my commitment to love my wife by trying to like her new lab, Opal, I made her this ornament. I even gave it a place of honor next to Santa, an antique ornament from my childhood.

    It was a Yamaha Xeno. They sell new for around $2800. I traded two trumpets plus $$ for it several years ago. I hardly used it so it and the case were like new. I listed it on Facebook Marketplace. Advanced Machinery has Hegners on sale right now, they may stay on sale I don’t know. I’m getting a new toy and a sweet young lady from Georgia is getting a very nice trumpet for Christmas so everyone’s happy.

    Too excited not to tell somebody that will understand. My Dewalt 788 bit the dust a couple of weeks ago.Today I sold a very nice trumpet that was gathering dust which enabled me to order a Hegner Multimax 22V. Merry Christmas!

    Nice job. That was a cool Grandmother move! All I know of his stuff is "Lose Yourself". Back when I used to run I had it on my iPod. It was a good motivator.

    Have to say I'm jealous. That's a great looking saw. I bought my band saw used, an old Craftsman, for $100. I'd trade it for yours any day. When I was just starting I bought a 4" jointer with that same manufacturer plate other than the serial # of course. Built like a tank but I've used it like 3 times, just takes up space.
