  1. Nice job!
  2. I like it!
  3. Here you go! I cut mine from 2X pine lumber and use a 1/2" round over router on the edges.
  4. I believe it was on the same isle as their acrylic paints.
  5. Yeah, whoever named the dye colors at Hobby Lobby was a Prince Fan. They have Raspberry Beret and Purple Rain.
  6. These are fun little cars to make for the toddlers in your family. They fit in their little hands really well. I uploaded the pattern to the library in case anyone is interested in making some stocking stuffers. I finish mine with non toxic dye I get at Hobby Lobby and mineral oil in case they decide to take a bite. Hobby Lobby may have quit carrying this dye. It's FolkArt brand dye. Here it is on Amazon-https://www.amazon.com/d/Art-Paints/FolkArt-Assorted-Colors-5614-Tantalizing/B01ETT4IK0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1542748110&sr=8-1&keywords=folk+art+dye
  7. Great family tradition that will be talked about for ages. Nice job.

    Wisdom

Beautiful job! I also like this version of the quote- God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me.
  9. No, but I'm jealous! I handle my 16x20 with a 3 radiant infra-red and an attic fan.
  10. No, that would have been easier. I did them on my belt sander. It does make them look a bit more realistic I guess though. I was proud of my Dollar General sock hats. Folded in on themselves once left them looking just like a toboggan. Lots of fun making these. Thanks!
  11. LOVE Calvin-n-Hobbes!!!
  12. More of a bandsaw project but these were lots of fun to make. I don't usually sell but I'm doing a Christmas Expo at my daughter's school. Cut these from 2X6's, pipes made of 1/2" and 1/4" dowels, eyes 1/4" carriage head bolts, carrot nose 1/4" dowel, brass nail buttons, arms are twisted #12 wire with white caulk on the finger tips, and caps are boys socks.
  13. Impressive piece of work. Hope I never have to do that!
  14. Very cool looking! Nice job.
  15. Very good looking piece. "Unsinkable!"
  16. Yeah, no way I'd replace the motor. Not sure what their angle is jacking up the price of a motor like that. Sure wouldn't motivate me to buy a new Dewalt if a motor is what I needed. I have really enjoyed my saw but I've had to make several repairs on it and I'm already researching for when it's time to replace it. This hobby has been so good for me I'm not afraid to invest a bit more next time.
  17. Thanks. I greased all the bearings a short time ago to quieten it down, which did help with the noise level. I've done a little more research and I'm betting the circuit board/potentiometer. Now to decide whether to spend $80ish on an educated guess.
  18. Thanks. I've done a little more research and I'm betting the circuit board/potentiometer.
  19. That is very cute!
  20. Great job on those. Nice looking frames too!
  21. I've run into a problem with my Dewalt 788 type 2. I guess it's about 6 years old. I was using it today and after a couple of hours it decided not to come on. After lots of checking I found it will start if I move the arms myself but it runs very erratically, suddenly speeding up-slowing down. I took the brushes out and one of them had a little build up on it. I cleaned both but it made no difference. I'm still suspicious if they may just be worn down, not making good contact since manually moving it makes it start. I admittedly know very little about motors so that may be ridiculous. I tore it apart several times but as I don't know anything about electrically trouble shooting it I didn't accomplish anything. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and resolved it.
  22. Again, humbled by your skill. The fern looking leaf you inlayed had to be a tedious task. It's a pleasure looking at your work. Good on ya Mate!
  23. I love the bear too! I plan to cut that for my shop wall. Great job on all!
  24. That's beautiful John! Think I'll sell my saw.
  25. Good looking work. Good luck!
