  1. I'm enjoying mine also!
  2. Thanks Dave. It looks pretty good in actual size but zooming in will keep you humble won't it.
  3. Nice clean cutting!
  4. Sorry for the repetition but I thought this one came out really pretty with the wood combination. This one's for my son in law who's a Capt America fan.
  5. That looks great Paul. I haven't tried anything like that but I plan to. So many cool things to do with this hobby! Looking forward to seeing the big project you spoke of.
  6. No. At least not the way I do it. The extra pieces are a very loose fit. I made this out of the extra pieces on the Spider-Man coaster which I’ll probably give to my Grandson who has a Super Hero room. The spider is not snug at all, just glued in place.
  7. Thanks! Yes, it's all inlay. Can't be that difficult if I did it!
  8. Because why not.
  9. Thanks Dave. Not as good as the inlay of yours I've seen. I had to fill in a good bit on the legs near the body. The wood was really hard and I think I probably put pressure to one side as I was cutting. I haven't done much inlay so hopefully practice makes perfect.
  10. Had some fun in the shop this afternoon making myself a Spider Man coaster. It's African Padauk and Black Walnut finished with Danish Oil.
  11. Great job on those. The artwork on the snow men is outstanding! Very happy looking bunch of snow folk.
  12. Beautiful work!!
  13. I'm so sorry Peter. I have 3 young grandchildren so it truly shook me to read this. I pray for the peace that surpasses understanding for you and your family.
  14. 5"X7" Rooster cut in 1/2"ish Oak with a Walnut backer. If you look closely you'll see the patched nail holes where I nailed the backer on the front by mistake again.
  15. Very cool original piece! Grabs your attention and hangs on. Great job!
  16. I am Groot! I am Groot. I am Groot? I am Groot, I am Groot. I am Groot? I am Groot! I am Groot.
  17. Yes, it's in the pattern library. It was done by bobscroll. It's in the Utilitarian section on the first page. And thanks!
  18. Nice looking piece!
  19. Very smooth cutting there! Happy little design.
  20. Nice work Paul! Way to keep Christmas in your heart all year!
  21. Thanks to the pattern making skills of @bobscroll I had an enjoyable time in the shop making my wife a beautiful trivet. Thanks bobscroll!
  22. Nice looking Nativity. I'll probably be cutting that one. Thanks for sharing and nice job!
  23. I've longed for that switch too! It is helpful knowing so many others deal with the same thing.
  24. I do get that somewhat, but it's always worse in my left ear. Goes from high pitched ring to what I describe as grasshoppers in a field on a hot day. Lately I've also periodically got the sound of tiny bubbles popping in my right ear. I've had several very loud jobs plus a lot of shooting shot guns in the past so I'm pretty sure what caused mine. So glad I kind of wore a mental callus to it. Mental anguish trumps physical ailments. Hate to complain when there's so many worse things people have to live with though.
  25. Never say never. She just now almost knocked the Christmas tree over.
