I still kinda suck at making frame.....getting better..... but I make the frame to match the project. By the way Jes,...what's a pile frame???...you said "Do you stock pile frames?" Just giving you a hard time my friend!!!!! -
Did you add the second coat when the glue is still wet??? immed after applying the wood glue?....

Great job!! wood looks real distressed.....hard to do!! The crackle medium that you brush on always looks too fake!! Def gonna try the glue!

The back is a heavy type of artist paper...It's a heavy watercolor paper. My wife painted the background with Jo Sonjas paint.

12 X 6 inches....gonna make one something like 3 ft X 2 ft.....if I can find the wood that big!!

It's 12 X 6 inches.....looks much bigger in the pic. It would be pretty cool to make it real window size!!!

Just need to put a hanger on the back, then find a place to display it!! Shout out to the wife for painting the background!! ( The real artist in the house! )

No...just dark stain on the cutting with a spray of shellac. The background wood is stained, sanded, distressed, a bit of brie wax, then lightly sanded again. Thanks!

Beautifully done! It would look good unmounted as well...I could see it just hanging by itself! Cutting at 1.5 degree really does make it pop! -
