  1. Gorgeous and practical,,, Perfect !
  2. Stunning, I'd stick with that designer myself
  3. Excellent job. I couldn't cut anything so small, envy you your talent.
  4. It can be done on a bandsaw, I do them every winter along with my 'dog man'
  5. Stunning !
  6. Welcome Eric. Don't worry, we all find free patterns to cut as well as the one's we buy. Please show your work, we love to see what everyone has made.
  7. Unfortunately @Djdracc joined on June 14th, last visited the village July 14th this summer. Alas, we don't seem to suit everyone
  8. Welcome to the Village. Enjoy !
  9. Now that is simply STUNNING, I stand in awe !!
  10. Nice to see you back Kevin, you've been sorely missed by all in the Village. !!
  11. Nice !! Be careful, they'll all want one now
  12. Totally agree with you Frank, but sometimes I need quick, cheap and cheerful and this fits the bill.
  13. That's going to be brilliant, can't wait to see the whole thing when you've finished !
  14. Nice one. Your lines are so neat with a spiral blade,, mine always look like a 3yr old has gone mad with a pencil..
  15. I love Mahogany, I have a lot of it, but I only do teeny tiny things as I don't have the skill to do such a masterpiece as yours. Beautifull and Stunning as I've said.
  16. The result I get with the Craft Repositionable glue which is about £5 in our money suits me. When I've done cutting I just wipe over with White Spirit and the pattern just falls off. I can't use anything 'sticky' like tape as I cannot grip with my fingers.
  17. @flarud. Once the cat is glued to the 'card' I cut around the piece so it's all flush. Then the oval is glued to the cat. I then put a couple or three coats of clear spray varnish which helps strengthen it and Voila !!! Sometimes, more so on the 'small' pieces, I don't want a wood backer as it makes it too clunky for me. Don't know of anyone else that does this but it saves me a fortune in 'backers' as the card is quite cheap from the stationers.
  18. Stunning !
  19. A lot of people use the full sheet labels, but I usually get a repositionable, spray craft glue as it's cheap and cheerful and works well for me even on my most intricate pieces.
  20. Lovely piece ! I'm sure you make a good 'domestic player' Hope Sharon is up and about very soon, give her my best.
  21. Thanks for your kind words Dick. Please feel free to use the picture, or I could send you my grey/red pattern. Enjoy. xx
  22. Not 100% but I think it's an H.Botas pattern.
  23. Oh Wow, they look stunning, !
  24. Nice piece, I can neither paint or cut any good with a spiral, so I admire your skills.
  25. I showed the Tiger to my friend, who is running the raffle for which it was made and he said. "Does it have a stand?" Oh, grief, give an inch take a mile !!! But to be honest I suppose it needed one as having a 'paper' backer it's quite a 'delicate' thing and would not do well with a 'hanger' So, I was looking on Ebay to see if I could find any 'cheap + cheerful' stands that I could put the Tiger on, when in walks Tony and says ''why don't you make one'' it can't be that difficult !! So off I went to search for a pattern,, I found this one on Steve Goods site and made it out of some scrap plywood. I don't think it turned out too badly myself but must admit cutting long straight lines is not my forte.
