  1. Merry Christmas.
  2. Thanks so much!!
  3. Thanks!
  4. That’s talent! Looks awesome!
  5. At what point did you (anyone in general) decide you wanted to start selling? I’ve toyed with the idea. And might consider it seriously when I get better. But also, I keep thinking about how much of a pain it is. I did retail management for 10 years and got burnt out. I just got away from the selling, managing, business running side of my life. Have a new career I enjoy. But also also.....the thought of making this hobby pay for itself is appealing. Selling what i make to save up for a better scroll saw, or to buy supplies, etc. Not necessarily make a living, or profit. But just break even and still enjoy the hobby. Anyone just settle for that?
  6. Haha, yeah it’s not all going to fit. Pretty sure he said they were going to call him Finn.
  7. Finnegan Blankenship. I don’t know for sure if that’s how they spell the first name. But I’m pretty sure.
  8. That would be great. I’ll give it a go! Thanks!
  9. Oh yeah those are great. Make the design yourself? I like the stool
  10. A co-worker recently had a baby boy earlier this month. I thought about a tree ornament but I won’t see him again until the 28th. Seeing how it’s after Christmas I rather give him something that won’t get stuffed away until next year. I’m low on my wood supply and the only good stuff I have is a 1/2 inch thick, 6 inch wide, 4ft length of Oak. Any suggestion?
  11. Today was scrap wood day. Are earrings popular?
  12. Cool beans. I have a spiral, but have yet to use it.
  13. Great, thanks for sharing. It’s always nice to get some pro tips.
  14. Love it. Well done.
  15. Wowzer! Really like that wolf. What size blade did you use for the super fine fretwork?
  16. I’ve got so many ideas for next Christmas. Adding these to the list. How did you attach the felt?
  17. Nice! How do ya get the coins out?
  18. got 3 more to do. Figured I’d do the set off Steve Good’s website.
  19. Haha! This one is great.
  20. What size/brand blade did you use? That is amazing work.
  21. Doubtful patent pending. Nice! Haha
  22. A portrait. I may wait until I get a better saw though. But I think that will be a stretch for my capabilities at the moment.
  23. Picked up some danish oil today. The stuff is pretty easy to use. Literally just wipe it on and wipe it off. I also got a paint brush set to get inside the fretwork and edges. Plywood doesn’t look good with the danish oil. But the hardwoods look great. I used super glue to hold the pieces to the stand.
  24. Thanks everyone! It’s a shame I really only have time for the scroll saw on my off days.
