yes you defently still have the touch!!! iv been away from my saw for awhile also looking through my patterns now toget some things onto wood to cut out i love the compound cuts best,and of course the wood carving

oh i love allthe peices you people do with so many fret cuts!! i havent had the courage to try a really complex one since i ruined the wizzard...now that imbeginning to get back into the woodshop im looking at doing some of the easer fret peice

lovely!! and yes its that time of year again....my grand son and i spent the weekend in the wood shop...he made a heart box for his mom....where keeping it here so she cant find it lol and i too am looking through my patterns and making presents

lol i will defently take pictures, inless of course i forgwet the camra...lol wait we have a camra on the cell phone im sure my daughter could show us how to use it lol geezz...we have all the animals taken care of, sheba of course will be with me, bonnie were taking to my daughter Helen and her husbands house....bonnie has always been almost ok with her , i think because she looks, sounds and smells a lot like me....Her husband on the other hand lol but hey she did take a treet from him last time they wore here. the cat will be in her room with frish litter tons of food and water and my brother will come over and take care of the bird and the tort.... right now im taking a break...im repotting the plants....i lost quite a few this time because last time i repotted them i mixed new dirt with old dirt sigh oh well i do what i can with the bag of dirt i have and maybe if i need more spike can still get me another bag or 2.....my daughter wants me to bring hersome plants so she can TRY to keep them alive now that they have a bigger place...havent told spike that yet....we are taking heathers plastic canvis castle to her to...and thatthings is huge....between that and my walker its going to take up most of theroom....spike has one big tub hes going to put all our stuff in to save room so hopefuly afew plants will fit in too....and of course Iwhere taking a big cooler with drinks and food to eat on the way.....I got my bigcraft bag out and will emptyo that and put a couple of crochet patterns and supplys in as well as some plastic canvis and plastic canvis mags in so hopefuly heather can cut out a few patternsfor me before we leave....i have a heak of a time trying to get those little squres right....so what i do when i can find someone who can do it bettern them me i take the project parts and putthem with the pattern and that way next time i want to make that project i have a plastic canvas template to use! dont remember if i mentioned it or not but we go on facebook market places and look around a lotand i got big tubs of plasticcanvas mags and canves forfree!! we have also gotten 2 trailers small trailers of wood so imstocked upin that department too lol if i get a chance i'll take pictures of the gnomb bird houses i made from steves patterns and i'll take a picture of the dragon house sign spike finally got set up lol and the stump with the door and windos on it....nothing fancey like i see here but i like it and maybe i can get more stuff made for it and out there in time. lol well we will be leaving on wensday....where taking the computers with us as well as a lot of dvds and of course cds to listen to whiitle where driving....so id best get back to those plants....everything just takes me so long to do any more!! its very annoying!! but like spike said id best get used to it as its not going to get any better lol oh and if you see words with a lot of extra letters in them its because sometimes when im typing the curser jumps up a few rows and i dont always notice it right away....any way backto the plants!!

sorry i havent been on in awhile....spike surprised me and let me know we re going to maryland over the labor day holiday to see my daughter and her husband... which is indeed wounderful news.....unfrountly being agoraphobic its playing havic with me.... im in a state of constant panic and spent the last 2 days down with a migrine..... needless to say im not doing to much of anything right now....lol at least the migrine is gone....i'll be back when we get home im sure.....after i get some real restful sleep lol just didnt want anyone to worry unnessarely....sorry i didnt post this sooner.....but i'll be looking forward to seeing what all you wounderfl people are doing when we get back

just wanted to stop in and say hi and im finally back in the wood shop!! yea....and everything seems to be working....I started cutting out the gnob bird house from steves patterns and the woodis cutting nice and smoothly...but of course the sand paper broke off my belt sander so im stoped for a little bit at least on that project....the only proublem im having is the same proublem i always have with patterns thats have slots and peaces that slide into the slots....grrrr now this is NOT a hard concept and shouldnt be a problem to do....but no matter how careful i trace the patterns or how careful i am when cutting the peaces out the darn things never fit together like there suppose to!! This one im just doing for me....when i make the next one im going to past thedarn pattern to the wood and see if that helps....im obvsiouly doing something wrong...any one have any hints tips or ideas

did a vido call with the dr, he said ice was good when it first happed so it didnt swell....every thing looks ok might have bused bone he said to take asprin if i need to for pain and to keep the brace on it most of the time if it dosnt feel better in a couple of days call for an appomet. feels much better today but still keeoing the brace on nice shades of black blue and purple lol spike says it matches my left butt cheak lol my poor grandson was hoping to do some scroll but hes taking things in strid and we loaded a dino into the 3d printer

i didnt just dissaper, my computer died so couldnt do anything requiring a comptur my new used one finally came in but im still not going to be on i fell out of my hammic chair onto the cement drive way im ok but i wreacked my left hand wrist and arm i dont think any things broke but i cant really use my left arm i can move it but my does it hurt when i do taking asprin and ice so hopefuly it will be better soon and yes im moving it a little bit here and there so it wont get stiff

Its come to my attention that people can worry if i suddenly stop going to a sight i usuly go to....dont know why i didnt think about that, im not usuly so rude! I wont be on much for awhile because its spring and planting time .... no im not a farmer but i do like flowers and i have an afraican tortus so i picked up some flowers to plant in the yard as well as some new flowers for in the house, most that my little tort can eat, and while im doing that im also repotting the plants i have. I do this at least once a year with all my plants and of course if a plant isnt doing good i'll repot it in a bigger pot with new dirt.... sometimes it works sometimes it dosnt. and i have tomato plants and strawberry plants we have to plant as well. then im hoping to get spike to take me out to the apple trees with his tractor that has the buket on it so i can trim the apple trees...i havnt gotten any apples the last few years so looked up what might be wrong...pruning is one of the things and then fertlizer so hopefuly i can get that done too....and while im feeling so good i had spike pick up some ingredents i need to make homemade spiggite sause and homemade chili....we've been doing tv dinners for far to long lol spike would live on them forever but being a cook i perfer home cooked food. I keep telling spike its not as hard as it lookes to actualy cook.....and i'll make enough so we can make homemade tv dinners for him that he can just pop it into the micrwave. I remember the first day he was here and i asked him what he wanted for supper...he said chili...I told him if he had wanted chili tonight he should have told me yessterday...he could have chii tomorrow but he couldnt have it today lol so i made him mac and cheese lol

those look great!! now i'll have to go out to that pile of branches and twiges and see if i can find some that would be big enough to do that kind of scrolling on them did you wood burn the edges of them or is that just the way wood came out when you sliced them into disks?

ok thanks....I have to go through my boxes of finished crafts to see what i have. do you have any tips on how to price things? last time i was on ebay several people told me that i wasnt charging enough...lol.... and now that im feeling better ( thank you God for bowtox!!) and my saws working im going through my patterns so i can start making new things....Spike took me to hospic today ( I get most of my craft supplies there) and i was able to get quite a bit of craft supplys...Not for woodworking lol but for all the other crafts i do lol and we got the wood shop all cleaned up so all i have to do is pick out some wood and some patterns and go at it. I know i dont make much of the more complacated things you guys do I know how to do and am good enough to....but now i know why i had so much breakage I need to get a better grade of wood.... I usuly just get blatic bearch.... can you tell me what the best wood to get for doing the more detailed fret work? that way I can pick up one panal of the more expensive 1/4 wood every now and then and make some of the more intergite work ..... I still have to get a scale but im getting closer to being able to try and sell things.... which will be good as im running out of room to put boxes of finished projects and thank you so much for all your help!!

Hey thanks for making that clearer for me!!! I did sell things on ebay for a few years before i could no longer get on the computer but most of the time we lost money because we didnt charge enough for shipping.....which is why spike hasnt been to crazy on the idea of my selling on line again.... since we live in town going to the post office wouldnt be a problem..... and id rather not trust our mail carryer with picking up orders....iv been set several packages from my friend in the U P that never arrived to me.... when the packages wore tracked it reports that the packages wore delivered where i dont know because we didnt get them...We told her to mail any packages under spikes name from now on its a sort of unusul name so maybe our mail carryer can get it to the right address. now we have gotten packages ment for other people too but when that happens we either return it to the post office or just take it to who ever it was suppose to go to... so either the person who got the packages liked what was in them and just kept them or they returned the packages to the post office and God only knows what happened to them after that. i'll ask spike to read your message and help me get a mail scale...and help me read the ebay instructions ( he said i still have the ebay account so would proubly do ebay again) for doing the shipping cost. and now id best get busy around here and see what all i can get done today lol

so you dont have to have the shipping cost listed in your in your post but add itin once you know where its going to be shiped to? one of the reasons spike isnt to thrilled about me trying to sell things on ebay again is because we lost money when i sold things because we idnt have the right price listed for shipping and most of te time we didnt charge enough for shipping... he wants me to figure out how to get the right shipping for each project before we try to sell thigs again....and would it be better to well things in esty insteade of ebay? I have a ton of boxes full of crafts that are just sitting herewhich sort of upsets him because im always making new things and well just putting them in boxes when im done is leaveing us with tons of boxes of finished crafts that arent going anywhere..

ok I read all the posts and i think i understand it now......weight times how far it has to go....The proublem I have ( and its been 7 some on years since i sold on ebay) is what to put down for shipping when i list the project.... since i dont know where it will be going before hand. you used to have to put the price of the project an the shipping and handling in the listing....with out knowing where its going....how do i calulate for that? sorry it took so long to get back to this post but i think i posted the question before i started getting the bowtox shots
