  5. Thanks!! now i can make puzzles that wont peal! lol Printing out your messag so i'll be sure to have the right stuff. im glad i was right about the photo paper, I just think they look better that way i'll have to see if we have glossy papper or not, but theres no rush I still have to get a working saw lol
  6. aww iv always love him!!! and your cutting looks more like a black and white picture of him....at least to me
  7. beautiful!! ahh i am really missing haveing a good working scroll now lol Im going to have to stop looking at all your wounder project pictures!!! lol
  8. looks great and is an excellent job. I have a clainder my daughter gave me from church...all the pictures are beautiful christen pictures and id love to make puzzles out of them. Can you tell me how you keep the edges from lifting up on some of the pieces. I use modpoudge...but some of the peices the paper seems to lift up from the wood. i hope that makes a least a little sense. I follow the instructions on the modpodge and i usuly use 1/4 inch baltic burch wood. would putting a different finish on the puzzles help...i usuly just use polyurthine.... or maybe thats the problem? maybe i shouldnt put any kind of finish on the pictures ....would putting expoxy on the puzzle before i cut it out maybe keep the paper from lifting off wood? as much as i HATE DOING puzzles that as much as I LOVE MAKING them .lol I plan on scanning the calander pictures into my computer so i can reprint them ( photo paper?) and make puzzles to give to the churchs around here. I think some of the older kids might enjoy putting the puzzles together...as they learn what each picture is about.
  9. They are all lovely, my favorit would be the puzzle though. Kids love dinos and the bright colors will defently draw the kids to it, and sneaking some learning in toys iv always loved lol its much easer teaching kids when the learning is fun lol espicaly when they dont really understand that they are learning while there playing lol
  10. Oh I just love it!!! I collect Dragons....many of which i make could you tell me where i could get a pattern for it? I think a dragon clock would look great on my dragon shelf!!. not surew which woodworking magazine that pattern is in....iv seen a lot of dragon clocks but none that i liked as much as the one you made
  11. Those are so cute!!! you did a great job!!
  12. They all look great but i to love the dalpin ( Iv given up on saying someday i will learn to spell lol) The waves are fantastic!!! did you make the pattern yourself? I could see those waves put a little differently with a serfer on it, and maybe a beach humm wounder how that would work lol
  13. I simply love the serenty prayer!! Iv seen a lot of patterns like that but have never been brave enough to try one. Iv learned from this group that the biggest problem i have in doing such intercet work is i need to buy a better grade of plywood for that kind of cutting... once i get a good working scroll saw i'' come back here and ask what is the best wood and thickness to use for such a project and give it a try...and i love the stain on both projects!!
  14. great puzzle!!! and yup once word gets out you could be a much busyer person!
  15. lovely I have patterns for a couple of different patterns of oven pulls yet the 2 i have are pretty basic and simple lol
  16. I as always agree with everyone else a beautiful piece
  17. I defently like it!!! and yes i have tons of scrap wood and little peices lying around lol Im forever telling spike dont throusgh that away!! lol
  18. a beautiful project
  19. i love it!! could you tell me how you colored it to make it look so realistic
  20. simply beautiful! now if i could find one with a dragons head on it lol but first getting a working scroll saw lol tomarrow i have another drs appoment...then maybe spike can take a second look at the dewalt and the pictures i have on here....never fails when you have something you want to do life just manages to toss things in the way! geezz!
  21. lol well since I do so many different crafts I have an entire room full of yarns and fabric for knittinig crocheting and sewing lol and i often intermix them together. Im starting a new crochet project tomarrow.....Im going to crochet my russon turt a simple shell cover to look sort of like a saddle and then im going to put some velrow on that and the other half on the bottom of a 3d printed knob so it will look like the knob is ridding on a turt to where ever knobs roam to lol I also have 2 small doors i cut out last summer to put together and paint and then I can nail them to the big old tree stump we have in the front yard....lol and im trying to figure out the best way to take some tree branchees to make a tee ter totter and a swing set and maybe a bbq grill to put on one side of the stump on the top to sort of make like a play ground when they cut down the tree they didnt cut it all stright across , one side of the top of the stump is higher then the other. On the higher side I need to figure out how to make like a roof over the tree stump house, I could then make like a little door on the side of the higher part of the stump leading out to the play ground airea....humm or maybe take some plairn and make like a roap ladder going down from the roof to the lower part of the stump...humm well i have the ideas lol now we will see if i can actually make it work lol and i know i cut out some compound cut knobs from here i think that would be just the right size for my little knob house....im going to have to go through the patterns here and see if i can find it...it would be a lot easer then searching through like 40 some odd years full of patterns....lol now if that sounds like im not very orginized its because im not!!! lol
  22. simply beautiful, and a nice plan fabric could set in the bowl to keep the m&ms from falling out, the right peace of cloth would bring out the beauty of the wood and the wounderful scrolling it took to make it
  23. simply beautiful!
  24. just read the post with the dialog....I KNEW after owing 2 dewalts that the blade SHOUD fit...just couldnt figure out why this one isnt....now the mistory is slove!! Spikes going to look at it as soon as he done eating....he might wait until tomarrow to actualy fix it....as for me im going to lie down now for a bit... lol driving all the way to kallamzoo and back plus getting the 30 some odd shots tends to wear me out these days lol
  25. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you....I was having some problems with my headaces and migrines....it happens sometimes when im close to needing my next series of shots...frontly I got my shots this morning so I should be feeling better by tomarrow.
