What paints are recommended for wood, i.e. wood puzzles. Looking for a one time spray application with no further top coating. bb

Ah- Yes! The Covid vacation may be in play. My son witnesses this a lot. He shows up for work faithfully but others do not - Covid vacation. bb

I can't find it anywhere including Lowes, Home Depot, Klingspor, etc. Anyone know why there is such a shortage? bb

I recently bought a Brother b&W 3 in 1 printer, scanner, fax as my old Brother printer got fried by an electrical surge. Bought the Brother again because it is easy set up and I was already familiar with the functions. However, we do not have a telephone land line now and I can't use it to send or receive a fax. There are other brands out there that will let you do that with a smartphone. bb

I used to do production cutting ~ 5 hours a day. Started with a DeWalt BUT only got a 2 years out of it before it needed to go in the shop. It only had a one year warranty. Then I switched to Delta with a 5 yr warranty. It only gets the same 2 years before going into the shop for repair. I always had a backup Delta saw because repairs took weeks to complete. Delta saw can be had for around $300 at Home Depot when on sale. So, you can get 3+ Delta saws for the price of a pegas, Hawk, or Hegner. That would be my recommendation. bb

I think it would be very easy for the authorities to follow through on this and make an arrest. bb

same drill here. GA to NC mailed on 12/9 and still not delivered. Plus it too 5 weeks for a letter mailed in Rome, GA to another address in Rome, GA. The local post office says EVERYTHING goes down to Atlanta to be processed. My theory: lots of fraudulent COVID vacations! bb

Duck brand packaging tape arrived yesterday. 2 days from Amazon. How do you spell relief? Duck Brand, Duck Brand, Duck Brand!!!! I wish the USPS would treat my Priority Mail packages like they do Amazon's packages!
-
My experience exactly! And it still takes that long now (Jan/Fed 2021) A friend of mine knows someone in a PA sorting facility. Lots of fraudulent COVID vacations! And no repercussions if no one doesn't show up for work. The source has no use for the union there.

Well there is packaging tape and there is packaging tape! Just bought a roll of 3M packaging tape at CVS because I had run out of my regular tape. Pathetic. I'm wondering if they provide a cheap version to CVS? The crap won't stick to my wood! Going back to my Duck brand tape! bb

I was looking for a table saw recently and came across this site: https://sebringdesignbuild.com/best-portable-table-saw-stand-reviews/ I have delayed my purchase as I have found a way to cut 1" x 1" x 6" blanks for 3d puzzles on my Ryobi sliding miter saw. Using jigs and hold downs so my hand is no where near the blade. bb

My first attempt. Just bought his dolphin pattern and will make shortly. I was able to find 20' of key chain and 30 connectors on Amazon for $7. If I put a fish hook in the tail what kind of fish would I catch? bb
