  1. Loved this pattern by Grandpa so I had to cut it. Frame is double layered with Walnut and Teak.
  2. Here are two projects that my brother was supposed to make frames for. It had been almost a year. He made a couple okay frames. I just redid them. The Billy the kid I made the interior of the frame more decorative and then distressed it. The open range I just enlarged the interior to show some of the backboard and rounded the interior corners. Not the best photos but I haven’t had time to set them up better.
  3. I don't. Maybe thats why I like it so much. LOL
  4. I got the honor of being asked to cut out 3 Mississippi states for a friend to have engraved for our State Youth BB Gun tournament. I kept one of the outer cuts and made this little plaque of my favorite State. It was a fun little project and I am going to make more.
  5. I saw a photo and just went out and made it. It’s a little different from the photo I saw. The original was taller and the bird hole was above the door. I moved the hole to the door so the nest would not have to be so deep. All the angle cuts were 15degrees in case you want to make one.
  6. Waylon was my first concert. 1985 in Tucson Arizona, I was a Sophomore in High School.
  7. Thanks guys. That was portrait #62
  8. Thanks. All the small wobbly stuff has glue on it, including the brim. Me and my shaking self was worried about cutting through some of the thin cuts but I made it.
  9. I finally decided to make one to hang on my music wall. I think it is my favorite even though I have cut one before. Waylon is out of poplar, the frame is walnut. I had some old square fence nails so I added them to the frame joints.
  10. Well after the Flu it got cold. 2nd coldest since living in Mississippi that I remember and a bunch of icy roads. So what do you do? You go out to the cold shop that has frozen water bottles in it and make a birdhouse . I did turn on my sunflower heater on the propane tank. i saw a photo of this birdhouse so I thought I would make one.
  11. That turned out great. Nice Job.
  12. That seasoning makes the hot sauce cry. It is Carolina Reapers, Ghost Peppers and Habeneros that we grow, dry out and grind into a dust. It sure does cure what ails you especially when you put a dash in your cup of coffee!!
  13. I do believe it would help.
  14. Of course it did. I was done with the Flu after 2 days thanks to the scroll saw.
  15. Great job. That is some awesome cutting and beautiful work.
  16. I Love the idea. I would like to make something like that. Great job on a unique project.
  17. I really like that. It turned out great.
  18. GREAT Job on the letters. The whole thing looks fantastic.
  19. The granddaughters will love them. Great job!!
  20. Pretty neat if I do say so myself.
  21. A treasure to be kept forever. Good job.
  22. My favorite project this year would have been the Handymans Tool Box that I made for my son for Christmas. Not much scrolling except for the sides and the handle. All made out of oak with an Alder handle.
  23. Well I came down with the Flu, so what do you do? I decide after sitting and sleeping in the recliner to go out and paste a pattern for a bowl on a piece of wood. I guess it didn't stop there as you can see. Made out of 1 1/4 birch countertop plained down to 7/8 then cut and put together.
  24. Now that is what I call a beautiful project.
