  1. I need to make something like that for my Granddaughter.
  2. Such awesome work.
  3. Here is my Open Range cut from a H.Botas Pattern. Since God has been soooooooo good to me, I have been cutting out His Different names. Here are 3 of them. I culled my stock and cut them out from the best wood I had.

  6. Alex, I used a Pegas #1MGT
  7. I think you guys and gals might be giving me a big head. Thanks for the compliments.
  8. It turned out like this., You can see through the candle but not the words.
  9. Frank, I like to try to test myself sometimes. It is always fun to see if you can make it through a project with no slips. I ended up saving the letters, staining them black and then inserting them back into their perspective holes, slightly indented.
  10. Took some careful cutting but I got all the letters cut and out in one piece!
  11. Thanks everyone for all the kind words. I might just have to give this one away to some Sam Elliot fan.
  12. This was a simple pattern but turned out neat. I am actually pretty darn satisfied with it.
  13. Here is the final Sam Elliot. I chose a framing method I had not used before. I glued the piece on a larger backer board and then framed it. The frame is heart pine that was revived from an old roof deck. My brother gave me some.
  14. Well as some of you know I had a heart procedure a month ago. My stomach started hurting last week pretty darn bad. Come to find out I have a really bad bacterial infection in my abdomen. I have been poked, prodded, stuck, scanned and looked at. All is good just an infection. All that being said, I spent some time in the shop and finished this Sam Elliot (H. Botas Pattern). I cut it out of a 1/2" Acadia cutting board. I was wondering if I should frame it or leave it as is. What do you all think?
  15. You did a wonderful job. Wife projects are always rewarding
  16. I love it. Super pretty project that is so well done
  17. Love it. I need to make one.
  18. Here are her original photos that Grandpa made the pattern from.
  19. My Mother In Law had 3 photos that she wanted me to cut out for her. She is putting the 3 photos in a photography show and needed another version of her photos. All wood started from rough cut wood that has been in the tractor barn for years. Much of it cut and rough milled by my father in law.
  20. That is probably one of the best ones I have ever seen!
  21. I believe that is Snell Roundhand.
  22. They do if you have full coverage insurance. Only his car was covered. Not his truck.
  23. I don't know if you can really call that a pattern but yes. All of my plaques I design myself in photoshop. If you want one, I can email it or post it.
