  18. Ok I have watched the repair video OCtoolguy recommended, uh,looks like for the money ,I should hold up and save for a better saw? I have no problem with saving more money up for a machine that is less maintenance, how long will the Dewalt saw run even if it is in pristine condition?
  19. Thanks for the heads up,on that subject I read that older 788 saws were made in Canada ,the one I am looking at from the photo is newer Should I pass if made in China? I am thinking about adding the Pegas blade holding upgrade. The saw deal is 350.00. With stand and light.
  20. I am picking up a gently used Dewalt 788 Tuesday, looking forward to seeing what a better saw will be like to use. So sorry to hear about the passing of your scrolling friends.
  21. I am new to scrolling, but is there that much vibration on a nice saw like that. I mounted my H F saw to a heavy bench that is lagged to the floor.
  22. I live near Shipshewana, lndiana, you don't see much of the hand made craftsmanship as in the past. But the baskets are really nice, good luck on the selling.
  23. Good reading I also was wondering the same thing, I ordered blades from pagas, next time I'll use the web site mentioned on the post.
  24. Once someone told me he would rather explain why he needed it than to go without it.
