  1. I don't think I could hide another saw in my shop.
  2. I am using the spiral blades to make some of the curves,my stash of blades is limited as I am starting out, did you see I am cutting 1/2 pine? For most of the cuts using a #1 blade. Thanks.
  3. That sounds great! I hate spraying glue, and sometimes the pattern comes off the work anyway. Thanks.
  4. Keven, the shipping labels, can they be used on ink jet printer? Print the pattern and apply to wood stock?
  5. Thanks. 1/2 pine using #1 and #3 ,#3 blade round blades on curves. Good lesson on keeping it all together.
  6. I thought I would try a pattern by Huntter from the library, the crappie pattern,I have been working on it and noticed the top fin looks like there is not mutch holding it together after cutting out the black. Is their a secret to keeping it all together? My saw is a Halk and blade feeds from bottom up.
  7. Sometimes the more important things take priority, our hobbies have to wait.
  8. I'm near Shipshewana Indiana, I saw a vender inside the venue with his trailer selling turnings. And lots of RVs in the camping area, they could use more hand made crafts!! We got tired of all the store bought looking crap. You're work would be a welcome addition to the venue.
  9. Would saw dust in the trailer be a issue? Are you thinking about dust collection noise?
  10. I figure if I don't get something finished, hopefully, their's always tomarrow.
  11. My sister in law saves my brothers elastic from old underwear, good for tying things up I guess.
  12. I have been looking at the Laguna resaw blade, let us know what you think of it, those are supposed to be nice saws. I was looking at one, but found a barely used powermatic, I had to purchase a riser block for it. I have been using the woodsliser blade from Highland Woodworking with mine.
  13. Looks like the pellet stove is working well for you, beautiful work on the saw.
  14. Is it full of ink I hope?
  15. I think also that hardwood seems to cut different across grain versus with grain? With grain seems to cut slower and I need to feed slower.
  16. For grandkids thought I would use both sides and give them a learning experience
  17. I would wait until Kevin has a comment on the price, sounds like a lot to me,
  18. I thought it was just my tablet, I have Darlene convinced I need a new one with a bigger screen.
  19. I ended up with a lamp that is 3x or 5x depending on the lens,I like the extra light it gives me, and it was a gift bonus from the store I work part time.
  20. What is a good one is 3x5x enough I saw one that advertised 10x for less than 5x what is sufficient for scroll work as small as 1 inch. Not doing stamp puzzles.
  21. Put a sub floor in shop last spring, found a deal on a pellet stove, bring on the cold! North west Indiana. It keeps the neighbors from being noisy out side with their mowers. Enjoy your Florida time.
  22. Don't they say, slow and steady wins the race?
  23. Thanks Kevin and new2 for the tips.
  24. Has any one used the sanding blades for scroll sawing
