  1. Thanks, Barbara. I'll check them out.
  2. Good morning, all. Please help me find some kitchen wall art patterns. In particular, a knife fork and spoon on separate panels or all together Thanks in advance.
  3. Another uniquely special piece from the Mira shop.
  4. Nice! Gave a laugh for the last one.
  5. The quail and road runners are numerous where we live near Tucson. We use seed blocks to attract the quail and hanging feeders for the other types. we have a gently bubbling fountain in the back yard flower garden that really brings in small birds of all varieties. But, no Cardinals. There is a rather large football arena near Phoenix that's home to a bunch, though.
  6. Nicely done projects. I like them all.
  7. When we lived in the mountains of Northern Arizona, we'd see oodles of Jack's. Down here, west of Tucson, it's only cute little cotton tails....and big ugly javalinas.
  8. Barb, I buy gallon sized DNA at the hardware store. It's sold for camp and marine stoves.
  9. A friend builds boats and he says "If you want perfect, buy a plastic one".
  10. But white coyotes are a real rarity.
  11. Color me green.
  12. Gotta ask. WHY. For those unfamiliar with the area, Why is a nearby town to Ajo.
  13. Pete, Tucson and Pima county is known as Ontario south.
  14. Really nice, Dick. It's hot down here in the Old Pueblo too. But CG has us beat quite often. My shop is 20X40 with 20' celings and I have a portable swamp cooler and two large fans. Even so, at 117° I'm usually in the house. My day usually starts at 04:00 or earlier. By noon, it's nap time, anyway. Buck up my friend. Cooler weather is on it's way.
  15. Thanks Witchita! Gonna have to try that.
  16. A pint is $14 at Lowes in the US.
  17. The Danish oil I use is Watco. The can states it contains petroleum distillates. Pure linseed oil probably doesn't. I've used it in the past but, not lately. IIRC, it was applied in the same manner. It does seem to take longer to fully cure, though.
  18. Welcome from another desert rat. A bit further south than Dick. Nearer Tucson.
  19. I've seen some on this forum. So, there's patterns out there. You might try searching the pattern section of this forum.
  20. Welcome, Al.
  21. Hey Mike. I'm in Marana...well, a good piece west of the city. We should meet up for coffee and discuss our 788s. Where are you located?
  22. I much prefer print material on paper, whether in a book or magazine. There's just something about the feel of real paper in the hands that appeals. I find it easier to refer back to a specific subject or topic. Especially if it's step by step instructions. But, there's lots to be said about the 'net, too. Without it, we wouldn't have the Village.
  23. Like!
  24. Pretty much my process, too.
  25. Any discussions like this is valuable info. For me, anyway. Thanks.
