  1. And I Thank All for your Kind comments.... ROLy.... Made mention above, but don't ever mind saying....Best Blade there is ....FD-UR #1. Tks again.... Danny :+}
  2. Hello to All.... Altho I DO READ many, many posts daily I just hardly ever make my own post. Promise I do better. Here is a couple Crosses I recemtly finished. Both started with 1/4 BB stacked two up. I ALWAYS use a FD-UR #1 blade for 90% of all my crafts. I am Hoping for this to be my Beginning towards MANY different types of Crosses for my Collection. Hint. Hint....:+} Any Patterns or suggestions would be Greatly Appreaciated. Hope you enjoy and I ALWAYS Love comments.... Pro or Con.... Danny :+|}
  3. Yes Keith your talent is still there. Great looking ornaments. Clean, straigjht cuts. Love the paint job. Danny :+}
  4. Hey Dick.... Talked to MIKE with Flying Dutchman blades and he tells me that Diana Thompson who designs mags. for Compound Cutting always uses the POLAR #5 and sometimes the #7. I did place my order today, so looking forward to using and them. Danny :+}
  5. What might be the Blade of Choice for cutting Compound Patterns where the wood is 2 inches thick. Soft Wood ???? Hard Wood ???? Some patterns are less than my stated 2 inches, but just used this as a reference point. Thanks in Advance to any who offer there 2 cents...................Danny :+}
  6. The post of using a dremble for enlarging the holes on the back is much easier and faster if you just keep a AWL handy. That spelling looks wrong. Its a hand tool that has a very pointed tip. LOL Danny :+}
  7. Yepper.... Good ole Heat Gun (got mine at HF) works GOOD. As long as you don't hold it on the same area to long as it will make brown burn marks. Did this many moons ago. Still like the SPRAY Spirits. Lets go make some Saw-Dust.... :+}
  8. Sorry for mis leading you..............SPRAY THE....BACK....OF THE PATTER WITH GLUE. Attach to wood blank. Cut everything out. When complete just spray minerial spirits onto the pattern. In Less that a minute the pattern will lift off IN ONE PIECE. Clean up of the left over glue is a breeze with another squirt of the spirits and just wipe it off. Piece of Cake.... Danny :+}
  9. Hello to All.... First actual post.... Blush! Been Scrolling for many years. During this time except for starting out using CARBON PAPER and tracing the pattern. Anyone remember doing this? Then came the different types of GLUES. Then Painters Tape. Has been the rule for lots of years. Costly stuff also. Well a friend of mine on Steve Goods site kind of lead me on. Experiment with the first one, but worked PERFECTLY, so proceeded with the others. Was stacking 4 up and using 1/8 BB. FD blade #1. Best ever. Well as you can see by using some mineral spirits in a spray bottle and giving a couple sprays and waiting MAYBE ONE MINUTE the pattern lifted off like it WAS NEVER GLUED. Yea! Well decided to decorate a cabinet door. Hey any and all comments are WELCOME.... Danny :+}
  10. Your Scrolling is Very Good. I was gonna say about the same thing Keefie said. You sure do continue to cut many projects. Sure wished I had more time to spend out there......................Danny :+}

  15. Gee I feel like I'm HOME. Cry for Free4All shutting down. Happy memories....BUT....I see all my FRIENDS from there HERE. YeA! HOWDY THEREl.....Marg....David....Roly....Mahendra....Sully and more. This is my FIRST time here I guess as I need the Moderators approvial to make any POSTS, but I',m sure he/she will put um on soon. Glad to be here.... Danny :+}
  16. I don't wear Glasses, but do need the cheapie magnifer glasses. I tried using the circle mag. light with bad results. To me there is a big change in what the eyes actually see and how the head must be positioned. Nope....Light for sure.... Danny :+}
  17. Hey Scroller....Danny here.... Long ago I began Scrolling. Cheap Lowes Saw. Bad idea in the long run. Then another Lowes saw. Better, but still just didn't get me feeling good about my work. Then I got a Hegner....Dewalt 788 etc. Was a Great feeling of almost immeadate accomplishment. Them dang curves n straight lines got easier n easier. Have found that the FD-UR #1 is a blade thats a Piece of Cake to control and follow a line. I feel running your saw at 75% speed of a touch faster gives me much better control than a slower speed. Just my 2 cents. Anyway. Good Luck. Danny :+}
