  2. Have owned three other saws along with what I use at present....HEGNER.... All have been Bottom Feeding. The Hegner ONLY FEEDS BOTTOM. Side note.... Seems if TOP FED you have to attach to bottom of the blade IN THE BLIND. Can't imagine doing it. Danny :+}
  3. VERY, VERY GOOD LOOKING. CAN SEE HER ..LOVING.. THIS PIECE. Good Talent with Scrolling. Danny :+}
  4. Hi Peoples.... Been a while since I posted a craft. Have cut MANY. Anyway I am in the beginning of cutting Shiela Landry's Name Plaques. I just LOVE the way they look. Even my Wife said when I showed her this one THEY WILL SELL GREAT. Yea! Did anyone watch Charles Dearing youtube of cutting another word and of course using the SPIRAL blade. Made it look SO, SO EASY. Here is my First Plaque. And as always. Will except critizing (some) LOL.......Danny :+} P.S. Was cut using 1/4 BB stacked 2 up. Also have a 1/8bb backer....
  5. GREAT job on the design and scrolling. Bet your Grandson will be HAPPY. Danny :+}
  6. OUTSTANDING LOOKING CENTER PIECE. Catches the Eye. Very good Design and looks like you did a Great job of cutting it. Didn't say how tall, but could see a 8" 12" and 16" standing side by side. Danny :+}
  7. It looks Very Pleasing to the EYE and I also share Marge's feelings. Too many hours practicing and most all FAILURES. They either BREAK or I get frustrated trying to securing them in the Holders. I use a Hegner. LOVE THE FDUR#1 blades. 90% usage for all projects. Danny :+}
  8. Well we owned one LONG, LONG AGO and it looks like a 1949 Mercury 2 door.... Wish I still had it. Danny :+}
  9. CAN'T SAY MUCH MORE ABOUT HOW GOOD THIS DESIGN AND SCROLLING IS. Top of the Line...........Danny :+}
  10. Well this past weekend ended out One and Only Craft Show for this Year. Good that I was Blessed with a PROFIT of $600.00 take home. Yea! Was TRYING TO PUSH for a Thousand, BUT.... Still Happy anyway. I did learn a thing or two though. I made a TOTAL of 280 Christmas Ornaments. 5 different designs and cut form 4 to 5 of each. Well I priced them at $1.00 each and sold ALL but FOUR. Cool. Yea! None of them were COMPLICATED at cutting. Had MANY plaques and Religious Crafts that I thought was FAIR at between $20 to $30 Dollars. Sold SOME, but brought MOST home that DID NOT SELL. cRY. cRY.... Think I really figured out the system for next year. ONLY SPEND OUR TIME CUTTING A CRAFT THAT THE MOST OF THE PUBLIC WILL LIKE AND ....CUT A LOT....OF THEM.... AND SELL BETWEEN a buck and five. Well this is my 13 cents for now, so I look forward to reading all your replys..............Danny :+}
  11. Hello DanSnow............Where do you buy the Wheels for the Tractor and Trailor? Went to the suggested website and was going to order till I got to the Shipping cost. Couldn't believe the cost of 36 wheels (1inch high and 1/2 wide) was $6 and the shipping was $9. Didn't order. So looking for a less expensive way to go. Any help would be great. Danny :+}
  12. I cut 90% of all my Crafts using Baltic Birch Ply. I Stack cut most every time up to 3/4 inch. I use the FD-UR #1 blade 90% of the time. I feel this blade does not dull fast. I know its getting dull when it doesn't track exactly on the line. Then I put a new one on. Anyway this is how I have Scrolled for approx. the last few years. Danny :+}
  13. Bought the plans from Toymakingplans.com and very satisfied with the completeness of each page. Would you believe there are 43 pages? I HAVE NEVER BUILT A TOY like this. It will be for my Great Grand-Son who is 4. I would APPREACIATE any advice on Anything that would make this Venture Fun to do. Thanks in Advance...........Danny :+}
  14. Been Scrolling for many years. Long ago I started designing NAMES with different shapes. Went over a HIT. Been a long time now and since I read yur post you have inspired me to get back on that horse and get family n friends names going once again. Thanks KEVIN.... Friends....Danny :+}
  15. I send my Thank You's to ALL. Lots of different opinions, but seems the price for all would be "Good" in the $25.00 figure. Different patterns did take longer, but I always stack cut, so get multibles. This show is in Fayetville, Tennessee. 2 days inside. This will be my 5th year. Learned long ago I am not in this TO GET RICH. I am Thankful that I always make between $500 and $600 each year. Pays me back for materials. Most years I understand that between 4 and 5 THOUSAND people come thru. ALWAYS a FLOW of people on Saturday. Sunday is Terrible normally. Learned to Bite my Toung from dealing with people that thought they were at a FLEA MARKET. Anyway.... Thanks again..............Danny :+}
  16. Have a November Show. Got into these type of patterns. Not sure how much of a price tag I should attach. Any Opinions Pro or Con will be APPREACIATED. Thanks to ALL in Advance........Danny :+}

  19. OH do I remember the Compound cutting. All types of Bird Houses and many of the same that is showed. Did a Great job as I seen them, but last years Craft Fair was not so Great for selling them. The normal simple round of simular shape sold like hot cakes. Was only asking a buck a piece. Sold 139 of um. The compound ones was asking $4 and $5 each. Second day dropped to 2 and 3 and did sell a couple dozen. Danny :+}
  20. Made lots of these as Crafts for a show years ago. Thought for sure they would sell for $5.00. Nope.... Sold ONE. Ended up giving the rest away to family n friends. Have tried n tried to successfully complete the puzzle. Remember ONE TIME, but mot sure if I might of cheated along the way. LOL Danny :+}
  21. Boy I was gonna reply up at the start, but I sure Enjoyed reading ALL the after posts. My younger Daughter also MANY years ago gave me the same idea the lil gal above did. Just a Light weight hair brush. Just stiff enough brissels to knock the DANG lil Fuzzies off. Danny :+}
  22. Howdy All.... I did locate a Revolving Music Box and is the Perfect size n shape. Googled and chose ETSY and sure enough this guy had MANY different types. Only cost $4.95 ea. Bought 2 as I cut 2 of the Cathedrals. I happy now........................Danny :+}
  23. Howdy to All.... Just want to say that this type of Pattern is my Very First Attempt. Piece of Cake now that I have completed two of them. Just a matter of looking at the over-all project as a few smaller ones along with some odds n ends. All pieces are tab and slot, so easy to assemble. I bought the plan from Berry Basket. Cheap. Anyway ran into the problem of not REALLY knowing what type or size music box movement to buy. Any of you have knowledge of a good Supplier? Anyway all comments are ALWAYS WELCOME...............Danny :+}
  24. My Good Friend You have Inspired me to tackle this project soon. Love the way yours looks. Great job for sure. I would use the butt joints also as I am not good at any others. LOL Danny :+}
