  4. I know there are different methods for keeping blanks together while scrolling, but just decided to snap pics to show my way. Might a been around a long time, but want to say I have experimented with other ways. Aileens glue sets up in less than 5 minutes. Ready to cut. And also after using different ways to attach a pattern I have decide this is the best for me. Sand blanks. No tape on blank. Spray pattern lightly. Attach and cut. The pattern usually peel off easily, but if not a spray of Minerial Spirits does the trick. Haven't seen this subject in a while, so Discussion Time. Danny :+} SECOND PIC SHOW JUST A LITTLE BITTY DROP OF GLUE IN EACH CORNER. Maybe this gluing method only works for circle or oval patterns.
  5. Might of missed, but all containers need a hole or holes in the bottom for water to drain out. You did as your usual a Great Job of building and Sexing the outsides up a tad. Great job. Just my 2 cents. Danny :+}

  7. All said above are Great Tips. Long ago I took some time to make BLANKS of each THICKNESS of wood I most likely would be using and like mentioned set my saw at different angles starting with 2 degrees and up to 4. When I found the perturding that suited me I labeled it. Works for me. Danny :+}
  8. Great job on the Mom's day gift and Loved ready your story. I have 2 Grand-Sons (11 and 13) The oldest and I have shared wood working on a number of porjects and each time it makes me feel So Good. Hate that he has to leave each time. Danny }

  11. Have been Scrolling for Many Years and Basically I have tried most all brands of Blades and at this present day I will SWEAR by Flying Dutchman. Some days I sit back and think about all them years at the beginning using LOWES brand. LOL Danny :+}
  12. Yes .. Shiela is about the Best Site to visit for just about any type of pattern. Reasonable prices also. Have been ordering patterns from Her and Keith for Years. Always Great Service and FAST at sending the patterns. She is a part of Steve Goods Forum. Not sure about here. Danny :+}

  16. Different, but Eye Catching with Yellow. I like it. Have cut MANY of these with ALL just a Danish Oil. Think I shall give PAINTING a go. Tks for showing us this. Danny :+}
  17. Decided to cut this Portrait pattern. Do Not Know who to give credit to for the Design. Does anyone know? Its cut on good ole 1/4BB. Used FDUR #1 blade. Stacked 2. It will have a 1/2" Oval Backer just a touch bigger than the Portrait. Black background. NO FINISH YET. Thanks for Viewing and my Usual is Love Feed backs.
