    I'm a little late but that is because everything happened at once... horse stalls to do, Susan had her last operation, removal of a filter. Had to get ready for a craft show tomorrow... I'm hungry....... cats and puppy to feed. But it's a nice day... All went well with Susan's filter removal, craft table partially set up for tomorrow. Gotta get up a little earlier to 'FEED THE HORSES AGAIN' ... get to the show and finish setting up fix a lunch to take, check my list. say my prayers.......

    What you're doing sounds good to me. I like applying two coats of BLO (50/50 mix Linsed oil and mineral spirits) and and then spray lacquer ....enough coats till I'm satisfied... I buy matte, gloss and semi-gloss...Beginning to like gloss the most Everything does not have to have a perfect finish. IMHO

    GLAD Press'N Seal from the grocery store .... peals cleanly from the wood and is clear so you can see the wood.

    I started with a Dremel and then bought two Deltas. Just seemed the way to thread a blade was from the bottom. I've never seen another scroller so I probably would have thought everyone was a bottom feeder if not for joining FREEFORALL and SSV.

    The little ornaments are beautiful. I like the turkey also. Reminds me of Turkey Napkin holders I cut. Is that Oak you used for cutting the football! Very nice. Very smooth cutting of the Light House. The cat is also nice... I'd like to write more but I'm being called ... Later

    Large patterns I use GLAD Press n Seal ... little things I spray glue direct to wood I have Blue Painters tape that I may use sometimes.
