I have the colors done with felt and the frame is just another try as I make a continual effort to figure those out. I have to say that I am pleased with the final results. Garage sale coloring books-- even already colored- are a good source for all sorts of smaller patterns! Can be easily traced with carbon paper or scanned and resized easily.
