The latest edition of SSW&C had this awesome trivet pattern by Ron Forsyth....My wife has been asking me to do some trivets for awhile now.......After doing this one I think they will make great Christmas gifts for friends and family.........This one is for my lovely bride!.........Cut from 1" red oak, using FD ur #5 blades......Finished with Mineral oil...finished size is 101/2 x 61/2...........comments welcome!

Well done!  I saw that pattern, but havent worked up the courage to try it yet.  The straight parallel lines will show mistakes, but you did great!!

 Your scroll saw skills are off the chart great with this project!Grampajim was correct in his speculation of straight lines..And in hard wood is asking for trouble too.Never have i seen scrolling perfection like this ! Congradulations!
