I had just finished gluing up a piece and had some time as I waited for the glue to set so i rummaged through on of my pattern drawers and found this cute little owl with no reference as to who the pattern maker was, so I printed out a copy and cut this one. As anyone can see, it is a quick and simple pattern that a new scroller could easily cut but I liked it so I went ahead and cut it just for the fun on it. I decided that moving from my usual square piece to something a little different might help with my 'do it the same way' that I get caught up in. I did like the outside shape for the change it offered me and I need to move on and experiment with other ideas. Maybe why my wife calls me boring.
