Hurt myself over a year ago and struggled to keep going ,now I'm moving and 1/3 of the way loading my pod,
I pulled the lawnmower back and the wheel caught a brick and pulled my wrist out of commission.I can't even flip a light switch on,let alone scroll.Looks like I'll lose all my stuff and be reduced to a statistic.Try getting dressed with one hand now, impossible.I'm at wits end what to do now.suggestions?

Kevin I have read your post 5 times and I still can't get my head around it.....So sorry to hear your troubles....I wish I lived closer so I

could help you out.   You didn;t get your name amazing by not doing anything. I am sure..... Give your wrist a few days It might be

ok.  God does not close one door without opening another....Don't give up yet my friend,  please keep us advised as to any updates.

Hey again,

Do you think you dislocated the wrist, or just maybe sprained it?  Do you have any neighbors that

might be able to load the rest of the pod for you? Have you gone to the Medical facility to have your

wrist evaluated? Hopefully it is not as grim as you think.  Hang in there buddy.

first, turn to God! He hasnt given you anything you cant handle or hasnt prepared you for!

now....slow down! imo youre not done for life unless you say you are. there are many people in this world who have lost hands, arms, legs andare still doing what they enjoy. they just had to learn new ways to do them.

but first things first- get it checked out. prolly not wise to make a medical diagnosis if yer not qualified to.

Things always look the darkest in the immediate aftermath of any crisis.  Let the health care professionals do their work - listen to them and follow their advice - then allow time, patience and your own (well documented) positive attitude and natural optimism to finish the job - you will soon find yourself sitting back in front of the scrollsaw and smelling sawdust ......

Holy cow Kevin, I have a tear in my eye here.Maybe with some luck it is a sprain that will heal.

Should go see doc.Bottom line is time should fix it and never say never...Thinking of

you and praying you will be ok.

I hurt my wrist months ago picking up 100 12" square stepping stones that were in my driveway.Io could deal with that but now the pain and the hand being totally useless is not good.I'm wearing my 10's unit night and day to mask the pain.Doc said it was tendinitis.Man i don't not want not to scroll.

Hope you get better...it is not easy doing things one handed. I had my right hand in a cast for 8 weeks following surgery. It made things very difficult and was not doing any scrolling.

Hang in there and get better.

Thanks Larry,Not being able to wipe my butt is devastating and doing it with the other doesn't work at all?

I trust in the lord but just heard on the radio ,praying a minute or two isn't going to cut it.I've never found anything i liked as much as scrolling ,That's been my life since 2004.You know i've always been on top of things ,If i do what ever i have each and every tool top do it with. For instance AIRBRUSHING: I HAVE EVERYTHING NEEDED AND ALL OF IT COST A [PRETTY PENNY ,magazines ,silent compressors, lots and lots of paints for fingernails, cars and clothes, every book on the subject ,the best airbrushes etc and all i was offered was $50.00 on craigs list.

Kevin, I read an article about a soldier who lost most of an arm in combat. A friend took him to a scrolling group just for something different. He ended up teaching himself to scroll with one hand and a stub.

DON'T GIVE UP PAL.
