jamminjack Posted January 25, 2016 Report Posted January 25, 2016 True craftsmanship Brian. Looking at the final piece make all the sanding, and extra cutting and shaping well worth the effort... Thanks for sharing. Your work is truly a inspiration to us all. "ya done good boy" Bpardue 1 Quote

Bpardue Posted January 27, 2016 Author Report Posted January 27, 2016 Malcolm There were about 150 pieces or so. Hard to tell how long it took. I cut everything in less than weekend and shaped everything off & on over a couple of weekends. This was 1 of 4 pieces that I have cut & I was bouncing back & forth between all of them. This was the easiest one on the bench to shape & finish. The elk I'm work on will be the next to be finished and it is the hardest to shape. You'll understand when i post it in a week or two. Quote
Young_Scroller Posted January 30, 2016 Report Posted January 30, 2016 wow, amazing <-- all I have to say Quote

OCtoolguy Posted February 3, 2016 Report Posted February 3, 2016 I am in awe and very envious of your artistic ability. It gives me something to shoot for. But, unfortunately, I have no eye for color. I guess that's why I don't paint and my wife has to dress me. Quote
LarryEA Posted February 3, 2016 Report Posted February 3, 2016 It is a fine piece. Beautiful and well made. Quote
Ged3 Posted February 26, 2016 Report Posted February 26, 2016 Brian, that's a stunning project you have completed there! I would be very proud of it - exhibition quality. I love the use of the different types of wood. Ged Quote
