      I am making a few different items for consideration by a customer for five hundred Christmas gifts for a large organization, to give out to donors, I think.   About five inches tall.  Painted star and stained cedar.  Hope this works out.  It is a work in progress but just in the planning stage so far. If this works out it will keep me busy throughout the summer I bet.

On one hand I would love to get an order like this.  500 at ~ $25 each is more math than I want to do.  On the other hand, I might just go out of my mind doing that many of one thing.

I love the work but I'm sorry being from Texas I must correct you on the star it is always white and dead center of the state unless she was wanting it to be the area where she lives... lol

The star is red because that is part of the logo of the organisation it is made for.  I am not sure why the shape of Texas is desired for this.

Is the one on the bottom right plywood?  If so, what finish did you use?

I still have not heard form them since I submitted these prototypes.  I am thinking this order  will never be completed.  I told them I need two months to make them. Although, I could do it in three weeks I think.  Waiting .....

I created something for my home state and went the easy route of wood burning a heart for the tourists (and possibly residents) to remember their visit to Carolina Beach.  I didn't display any last week, my first week at a summer farmers market, but I will be this Saturday and will see if folks like them.
